It's been a season from hell for the New York Jets at NFL betting sites, with first-year coach Aaron Glenn still seeking his first victory late in October. And with the upstart Patriots and steady Bills well ahead in the AFC East, the Jets will surely get calls ahead of the Nov. 4 trade deadline.

One of their better players - running back and soon-to-be free agent Breece Hall - could be on the move to help a contender. But which teams would make the most sense? Bookies.com breaks down odds for Hall's next team after the deadline, with a decent chance that he remains a Jet.

LA Chargers (+1250)

Year 2 of Jim Harbaugh in LA is off to a solid 5-3 start with Justin Herbert garnering some NFL MVP betting consideration. But Harbaugh loves to establish the run, and the Chargers still have the Chiefs and Broncos to worry about in their own division. Hall joining the backfield for a playoff run would help Herbert and co. substantially.

Kansas City Chiefs (+1250)

Perhaps we should say it's an AFC West race for Hall's services. The Chiefs offense is playing much better than last year, but a more significant backfield threat will enable them to claim their 10th straight division title, which is in jeopardy as of Week 8.

Chicago Bears (+1750)

Ben Johnson is turning things around in the Windy City, and he utilized Jahmyr Gibbs and David Montgomery well in Detroit as OC under Dan Campell. DeAndre Swift and Hall could be the tandem to get the Bears back to the playoffs.

Houston Texans (+2000)

The Texans cannot waste an all-time defense and let Daniel Jones and the Colts run away with the AFC South. If CJ Stroud and the passing game can't figure it out, adding Hall may be the most effective deadline strategy.

Others To Watch

The Steelers and Cardinals could also be the mix for Hall, though Arizona may want to be careful as buyers at the deadline with the club headed in the wrong direction. Hall reuniting with Aaron Rodgers in Pittsburgh would also be interesting, but there's still a good chance the Jets keep Hall past the deadline as well (-185). That said, he'll be an unrestricted free agent after the season. The time to sell is likely now.
