On the day before the FedEx Cup Playoffs begin at Liberty National Golf Club in Jersey City, New Jersey, FanDuel announced Wednesday an exclusive sports betting partnership with three-time major champion Jordan Spieth.

FanDuel Sportsbook, an official sports betting partner of the PGA Tour, will be the exclusive sports betting and daily fantasy provider for Spieth, who will be featured in national television commercials and will be the face of FanDuel’s golf betting products.

He will also work with FanDuel on content for social media and responsible gaming initiatives, and FanDuel will also support the Jordan Spieth Family Foundation to continue its great work in the community.

“As the world of legal sports betting grows rapidly in the U.S, I’m incredibly excited about what’s happening in the space and the potential it has to bring new fans to the sport of golf,” Spieth said in a news release. “As the PGA Tour and others in the golf world have strongly embraced legalized sports gaming, I look forward to working with FanDuel to find unique ways to engage the fast-growing fan base.”

Spieth A Favorite This Week

Spieth, who is currently second in the FedEx Cup rankings, has nine Top-10 finishes this season, including his 12th PGA Tour victory at the Valero Texas Open.

Spieth tees off Thursday morning in The Northern Trust first round at 8:26 a.m. ET, with The Open champion Collin Morikawa and Patrick Cantlay in his group.

As of Wednesday morning, Spieth was listed with the second best golf odds to win The Northern Trust at +1600 at most sportsbooks and betting apps, with only U.S. Open champ Jon Rahm better at +900.
