After another thrilling summer of top-class hurling, two teams are left to battle it out to be crowned All-Ireland champions. Will it be Kilkenny, who have won the Liam MacCarthy Cup a record 19 times? Or will Limerick be crowned champions for the fourth successive year?

First contested in 1887, the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship is the highest level of the sport. The final brings the nation of Ireland to a standstill as the best two teams in the country go head-to-head for the greatest prize.

It's perhaps no surprise that both finalists from last year are back to fight it out in the All-Ireland Senior Hurling final at Croke Park. A repeat of the 2022 final which Limerick won 2-26 to 1-31, would be greatly appreciated at the home of GAA.
