Brazil's odds on winning the Copa America have drifted out following news that star man Neymar will miss the tournament through injury.

Paris Saint Germain star Neymar has been ruled out of the tournament which starts on June 15 after picking up an ankle ligament injury in Wednesday's friendly with Qatar.

As a result of Neymar's absence Brazil have drifted from 11/10 (+110) to 11/8 (+138) with Bet365 to win the Copa America for the first time since 2007.

Losing Neymar will come as a major blow to Brazil coach Tite, with the attacker having scored a remarkable 60 goals in 97 appearances for his country.

Neymar has endured bad luck on the injury front during the last couple of years, rushing back from a broken metatarsal injury just in time for last summer's World Cup before suffering the same injury this season which ruled him out of action for three months.

Punters Seeking The Value

Punters are now willing to take on hosts Brazil for Copa America glory with Argentina cut to 7/2 (+350) from 4/1 (+400) to win the trophy.

Lionel Messi will be desperate to make up for so many heartbreaks on the international scene by finally leading his country to glory and they are clear second favourites to go all the way this year.

Uruguay, who have won the Copa America the most times with 15 successes, are 7/1 (+700) to make it sweet 16 this year and with the likes of Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani in their ranks they have proved in tournament football they can beat anyone on their day.

Next in the betting comes a talented Colombia side at 8/1 (+800) and they boast enough quality in their squad to go far in this tournament after impressing at last summer's World Cup finals before losing to England on penalties in the last 16.

Chile have won the last two editions of the Copa America in 2015 and 2016 and La Roja are available at 11/1 (+1100) to make it a memorable hat-trick at this month's finals.

Copa America invitees Japan and Qatar are 50/1 (+5000) and 80/1 (+8000) respectively to cause a major shock to their South American rivals.
