Bookies.com used Google Trends to see what the favorite Christmas songs are for fans and NFL bettors of each of the teams playing on Christmas Day. We ranked the top 20 most popular Christmas songs based on Google Trends search interest score the city the team plays in over the past 30 days.

Dallas Cowboys Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“White Christmas” 72
“Last Christmas” 51
“Silent Night” 44

When your last trip to the Super Bowl was during the first Clinton administration, you can bet that your fans are going to look for some holiday time musical comfort to get them through the blues that come from having little in the way of postseason success this century.

That seems to be the case with fans of “America’s Team,” with Dallas Cowboys supporters choosing a trio of Christmas song classics as their go-to come the end of the year, with Bing Crosby’s 1942 hit “White Christmas” scoring the most points, with 72.

Throw in “Last Christmas” by Wham! at 51 points and the 19th century carol “Silent Night” at 44 points and you have Dallas’ three favorite Xmas songs list covered, with only one song on the list that’s been released in the latter half of the 20th century, speaking to Cowboys fans’ preference to remember the glory days of the 1990s, when Dallas won three of the club’s five Super Bowl titles.

Washington Commanders Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“Last Christmas” 67
“White Christmas” 53
“Santa Baby” 35

Fans of the NFL’s team in the Nation’s Capital have similar tastes to that of their rivals from the Lone Star State, with “Last Christmas” scoring the most points of any holiday song, at 67, followed by “White Christmas” at 53 and Eartha Kitt’s 1953 classic, “Santa Baby,” which had 35 points in total.

The lack of new holiday tunes in D.C. is also likely of little surprise, given Washington’s title drought that has dragged on even longer than Dallas’, with the Commanders last winning it all in 1992, though Commanders fans can hope that 2026-27 might be the league year where the Vince Lombardi Trophy comes back to the District.

Detroit Lions Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“White Christmas” 61
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” 42
“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” 29

Over in the Motor City, the story’s much the same, Xmas song wise, with Bing Cosby ruling the roost with a search interest score of 61 for his classic hit, “White Christmas,” ranking well ahead of Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” (42 search interest score) and “Rocking Around The Christmas Tree” (29 search interest score).

Of the three, Carey’s 1994 hit is the only one that’s been released in recent decades, though football fans are never shy about embracing tradition, with holiday staples being a natural extension of that preference.

Minnesota Vikings Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“Last Christmas” 31
“White Christmas” 23
“Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” 14

Up in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, fans of the Minnesota Vikings shared similar holiday song preferences to other fanbases in the NFL, with “Last Christmas” scoring a slight search volume score win over “White Christmas’ and “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.”

In total, the George Michael-led holiday classic finished with 31 points, while “White Christmas” had 23 points and “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree” finished the period in question with 14 points, putting a bow on Vikings’ Christmas tune playlist this December.

Denver Broncos Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“Last Christmas” 40
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” 24
“Santa Baby” 23

Up in the Mile High City, fans of the Denver Broncos have managed to follow the script as other NFL supporters, with “Last Christmas” scoring the top spot with 40 points, while “All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey was No. 2 overall at 24 points and “Santa Baby” was a distant third, at 23 points.

As Denver looks to tack on fourth Super Bowl title (and first since 2015), it seems like Broncos fans have plenty of reasons to celebrate this holiday season, with a trio of Christmas songs to kick off the festivities in the coming days and weeks.

Kansas City Chiefs Fans’ Favorite Christmas Songs

Rank Song Score
“Last Christmas” 41
“Silent Night” 34
“Santa Baby” 31

Finally, the AFC powers that are the Kansas City Chiefs have fans that like to follow the lead of the rest of the league, with “Last Christmas” once again finishing as the top Christmas song in the Crossroads, with a search interest score of 41 points.

Throw in “Silent Night” at 34 points and “Santa Baby” at 31 points and you have the full rundown of K.C. Christmas songs covered, as Chiefs supporters prepare to watch other teams compete for a Super Bowl without them, as Andy Reid’s squad missed the postseason for the first time since 2014 this season.
