Drake Maye Jersey: Why He's the No. 1 Pick

In Drake Maye’s second season, the Patriots made a drastic turnaround and he was second in NFL Most Valuable Player voting. New England went 14-3 and, though they lost Super Bowl 60 to the Seattle Seahawks, 29-13, Maye has become a big star. He has the highest jersey search volume of any player heading into 2026 (18,000 per month).

At Caesars Sportsbook, as of April 27, the Pats have +1900 to win Super Bowl 61. That is an intriguing price for the defending AFC champions and their rising young quarterback.

The players’ union, the NFLPA, keeps track of jersey sales. According to those figures, Maye was a top-five seller all season.

New England has a huge fanbase, so any player who succeeds at the sport’s most glamorous position for the Patriots will be a merchandise machine.

Buffalo Bills QB Josh Allen is next in search volume, at about 10,000 per month, so Maye's lead over the rest of the league is substantial.  At DraftKings Sportsbook, Allen is the favorite to win NFL MVP at +550 odds. Josh Allen jersey interest remains strong after he won his first MVP in the 2024-25 season.

Best NFL Jerseys to Buy Right Now

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley (No. 3 overall) is the top seller at Lids and is the highest non-quarterback according to our metrics. Right behind him on our list is his teammate, QB Jalen Hurts, the MVP of Super Bowl 59.

Baltimore Ravens QB Lamar Jackson is next at No. 5. Jackson is a two-time NFL MVP who still hasn’t turned 30. Lamar Jackson jersey sales and Google Trends search interest measurements should be strong for years to come.

Jaxson Dart Jersey: The Breakout Pick

New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart is No. 11 on our list and is a fast riser, with 13,000 monthly searches; that is one of the highest volumes of any non-top-five player. The New York market gives Dart a boost as Giants fans hope he is the long-sought, long-term answer at quarterback. Dart threw for 2,272 yards and 15 touchdowns in 12 starts last season. Former Ravens boss John Harbaugh has arrived as New York’s new head coach and he could help guide Dart to a leap forward. if the youngster surges, Jaxson Dart jersey sales could jump up this list. At BetMGM Sportsbook, the Giants have +260 odds to make the playoffs and -325 odds to miss.

Shedeur Sanders Jersey: The Polarizing Pick

Shedeur Sanders fell down the 2025 NFL Draft board before the Cleveland Browns selected him in the fifth round. That slide generated enormous national media coverage and internet search demand, which hasn't cooled despite his spotty numbers (7 TDs, 10 interceptions) in limited action. The Shedeur Sanders jersey is one of the most-searched on our list, where he is ranked 13th. Entering his second season, the Browns hope he’s a motivated player with a point to prove.

Top Selling NFL Jerseys by Team

The Eagles lead all teams with three players in the top 25: Barkley, Hurts and cornerback Cooper DeJean (No. 15). Those jerseys are still popular more than a year after the Eagles won Super Bowl 59. The team’s recent success, with three Super Bowl appearances and two titles in the past nine years, plus Philly’s status as a major market leads to big sales and interest.

The Giants (Dart and Cam Skattebo) and Green Bay Packers (Micah Parsons and Jordan Love) also show up twice on our list. So do the Las Vegas Raiders with an intriguing combo: QB and No. 1 overall draft pick Fernando Mendoza, the only 2026-27 rookie on our list, and Maxx Crosby, whose offseason trade to the Ravens fell through.

Our Methodology

Rankings are based on 2025 NFLPA official lists of the league’s top-selling jerseys, year-end 2025 merchandise sales data from Lids, plus jersey-specific Google Trends search volume as of April 2026. We weighted NFLPA data most heavily as the official record; search volume is applied as a leading indicator for breakout candidates. Bookies.com factored in offseason context (which can include trades, draft results, injury returns and championships) as a qualitative overlay. This is an editorial projection, not official NFLPA or Lids data.

Q&A

Q: Who has the best-selling NFL jersey right now?

Drake Maye of the New England Patriots is projected to be the best-selling NFL jersey heading into the 2026 season. Maye led all players in jersey-specific search volume at 18,000 monthly searches. That comes a season after Maye, in his second NFL campaign, carried New England to Super Bowl LX. The Patriots QB posted NFLPA top-seller numbers throughout 2025, with Josh Allen (Bills) and Lamar Jackson (Ravens) rounding out the top three.

Q: What are the top selling NFL jerseys this year?

The top selling NFL jerseys heading into 2026 are Drake Maye (No. 1), Josh Allen (No. 2), Saquon Barkley (No. 3), Jalen Hurts (No. 4) and Lamar Jackson (No. 5). Rankings are based on 2025 NFLPA and Lids sales data combined with current Google Trends search volume.

Q: Which NFL team sells the most jerseys?

The Philadelphia Eagles lead all NFL teams with three players in the top 25 jersey sales projections for 2026: Saquon Barkley (No. 3), Jalen Hurts (No. 4), and Cooper DeJean (No. 15). The momentum left over from their Super Bowl 59 triumph and a star-studded roster make Philadelphia the league's top merchandise driver entering 2026.

Q: Is a Drake Maye jersey worth buying?

Yes, Drake Maye is the top projected NFL jersey seller for 2026. He led New England to Super Bowl LX in his second season and has a massive fan base behind him. Maye posted the highest jersey-specific search volume of any player heading into the year. If you're looking for a jersey that will only grow in value, Maye’s No. 10 Patriots jersey is the pick.

Q: What is the best NFL jersey to buy as an investment?

Jerseys tied to young QBs on winning trajectories tend to hold value best. Drake Maye (Patriots), Jaxson Dart (Giants), and Shedeur Sanders (Browns) are the three highest-search-volume players under age 25 on the list. Maye is the safest pick given his Super Bowl appearance. Dart carries the most upside as an unproven but promising commodity in the nation's biggest market.

Q: How are NFL jersey sales ranked?

Our rankings combine official NFLPA top-seller lists from 2025, Lids year-end data on NFL merchandise sales by team, plus current jersey-specific Google Trends search volume from April 2026. NFLPA data carries the most weight as the official record. Search volume is used as a leading indicator for breakout candidates and players with strong offseason momentum.
