NFL Shoppers on Black Friday need to keep both hands limber. One will be fully engaged pursuing those can’t-miss online deals. The other will be clicking away between the Bears-Eagles game in Philly and a deep desert tray of college football offerings.
Both the Bears and Eagles share an 8-3 record and a first-place hold in their respective divisions. Chicago beat Pittsburgh (without Aaron Rodgers) on Sunday. The Eagles fumbled and bungled away a 24-21 decision at Jerry World thanks to Dak Prescott’s arm, George Pickens’ hands, and the golden toe of kicker Brandon Aubrey.
NFL Week 13 Best Bets: Odds & Picks

Friday, Nov. 28
Chicago Bears at Philadelphia Eagles, 3 p.m. (Prime Video)
Buzz: Both 8-3 teams own first-place in their respective divisions and have covered 7 times this season. The Bears held off Aaron Rodgers, Mason Rudolph, and the Steelers at home Sunday. Caleb Williams threw for 3 TDs. The Bears have won 8 of 9. The Eagles collapsed at Dallas on Sunday, blowing a 21-point lead. The short week could be the perfect fix for an Eagles team that continues to teeter on the brink of A.J. Brown’s latest outburst. Philly’s defense can contain Williams, Saquon Barkley won’t fumble again, and the Bears lack the deep threat produced by Dallas (see Georgia Pickens) on Sunday. The champs bounce back with a convincing win and cover in our Week 13 NFL Best Bets.

Sunday, Nov. 30
Los Angeles Rams at Carolina Panthers, 1 p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: Tom Brady heads for Charlotte in this battle of first-place teams in the day’s best offering on FOX. Well, OK, the Panthers are tied for first. But hey, we’ll take what we can get. The Rams (-7) and NFL MVP-In-Waiting Matt Stafford tore up what’s left of Tampa Bay’s defense Sunday in a 34-7 rout. The Rams are 8-3 SU and ATS, tied for the best record in the NFL on the number with Seattle. The Panthers, meanwhile, are close behind at 7-4 ATS. This number grew 3 points Sunday night. Given the early East Coast kickoff and Carolina’s good-enough defense, we’ll take the points.
Best Bet: Panthers +9.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam
San Francisco 49ers at Cleveland Browns, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: The Shedeur Sanders Era began Sunday as Young Prime became the first Cleveland QB to win his debut since 1999. Yes, the 24-10 victory still counts even though it came against the Raiders. Myles Garrett’s unrelenting drive toward the NFL single-season sack record continues against Brock Purdy this week. The 49ers come off the bye and should be their healthiest all season. Look for lots of George Kittle as Cleveland loads up to stop CMC. Can Shedeur keep it close against a legitimate NFL defense? Maybe? That’s a real gap between these two teams. But Cleveland gets the backdoor cover against a West Coast team playing in the Eastern Time Zone thanks to its defense.
Best Bet: Cleveland +6.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Jacksonville Jaguars at Tennessee Titans, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: Don’t look now, but the Titans have covered in three straight. Tennessee stands 5-6 ATS, but just 1-10 SU. This week, the 7-4 Jaguars visit Nashville safely above the playoff waterline as the No. 6 AFC seed. Jacksonville scored its 2nd road win of the season at Arizona on Sunday, despite 4 turnovers. That’s a game the Jaguars would have clearly lost in the past. Trevor Lawrence cleans it up this week against the No. 1-draft-pick-or-bust Titans.
Best Bet: Jaguars -6.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: The 8-3 Colts got a full dose of Mahomes Magic Sunday. Indy – with some help from Park Avenue - blew a 20-9 lead at Kansas City before losing 23-20 in overtime. Indiana Jones & Company must show they’re for real with a bounce-back win against a tough divisional opponent this week. The 6-5 Texans enter this game as winners of three straight, including two against AFC South foes. The Texans are winless on the road against winning teams. The Colts have covered in 7 of their past 8 AFC South games. Someone’s getting exposed this week.
Best Bet: Colts -3.5 (-105) ESPN BET via OddsJam
New Orleans Saints at Miami Dolphins, 1 p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: Speaking of leftover turkeys . . .
Best Bet: Under 41.5 Points (-105) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Atlanta Falcons at New York Jets, 1 p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: Gang Green has made some green for its miserable and demoralized-for-55-years fanbase. The Jets nabbed back-to-back backdoor covers on 13.5-point lines against the Patriots and Ravens. Of course, they lost both games by 13 points. Meanwhile, no team has mastered the agony of defeat better this season than Atlanta. The Falcons ended a five-game losing streak – including games lost by a missed PAT, a last-second field goal, and a TD in overtime - Sunday with a 24-10 win at New Orleans. Pleasant-for-November weather helps the dome-dwelling Falcons clamp their claws on back-to-back road victories here in our Week 13 NFL Best Bets.
Best Bet: Falcons -2.5 (-105) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Arizona Cardinals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: The battered, bruised, and beleaguered Buccaneers have not won a game in over a month. Baker Mayfield left Sunday night’s 34-7 slaughter at SoFi with a wounded shoulder. Teddy Bridgewater finished at QB for Tampa Bay. The Cardinals, meanwhile, found themselves in a hole in the desert Sunday, losing to the Jaguars at home. We’re not sure who’s going to score first—or at all. Take the under here, and in your cart on Amazon. You don't need ANOTHER TV.

Minnesota Vikings at Seattle Seahawks, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)
Buzz: The Sam Darnold Payback Bowl in our Week 13 NFL Best Bets has the Seattle Seahawks playing host to the Vikings. The Seahawks and Rams are tied at 8-3 atop the NFC West, but LA holds the tiebreaker after its 21-19 win over Seattle weeks ago. Darnold and the Seahawks keep pace this week by overwhelming the Vikings and J.J. McCarthy. Despite missing the cover as 12.5-point favorites in their 30-24 win over Tennessee, the Seahawks (and Rams) share the league’s best record ATS at 8-3.

Buffalo at Pittsburgh, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: The “We Need A Win To Stay In The Playoff Chase Bowl” features two teams that have lost their hold on first place. Jim Nantz and Tony Romo visit the Steel City as Aaron Rodgers (or Mason Rudolph) face Josh Allen & Friends. The Steelers’ loss at Chicago Sunday, combined with Baltimore’s win over the Jets, knocked Pittsburgh out of first place in the AFC North. Buffalo’s run as AFC East champs ends if New England wins its next two games. The Bills’ talent pool runs deeper in this matchup. And Allen has shown his ability to win nearly all by himself. But the Bills haven’t covered the last 4 times as favorites against AFC teams. This one comes down to a field goal. Or less.
Best Bet: Steelers +4.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Las Vegas Raiders at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)
Buzz: Unless Raiders part-owner Tom Brady comes out of retirement, take the Bolts and the points. Even if Tom Brady comes out of retirement, take the Bolts and the points.
Best Bet: Chargers -9.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam
Denver Broncos at Washington Commanders, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)
Buzz: The Broncos come off the bye and a season-defining-for-now thrilling win over the Chiefs. Washington spent its bye week wondering what happened to a season that began with playoff hopes, but the team is at 3-8. The Broncos have won 8 straight, while the Commanders have failed to cover in 6 straight games. Sean Payton has his team playing its best ball of the season. Bo Nix is on his game this week.
Best Bet: Broncos -6.5 (-110) ESPN BET via OddsJam

Monday, December 1
New York Giants at New England Patriots, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)
Buzz: The 10-2 Patriots own the best record in the NFL, are 7-4-1 ATS, and did not lose in October or November. The Patriots’ 26-20 win over Cincinnati (they missed the closing cover at -7 on a line that moved between 4.5 and 8.5 points during the week) proved costly in the injury department. The Giants threw Jameis Winston at Detroit on Sunday. Winston pushed Big Blue to OT and a backdoor cover as 10-point dogs in a 34-27 loss. The winless-on-the-road Giants aim to pressure Drake Maye, exploiting what’s left of New England’s tattered offensive line. Meanwhile, the Patriots' defense returns to form at home ahead of some much-needed rest and the bye.
