Haney vs. Lomachenko Best Bets & Predictions

Saturday’s boxing match between Haney and Lomachenko promises to be one of the best fights of the year. As stated above, Haney is the favorite to win, and I predict that will indeed happen.

Haney is only 24 years old and he has a perfect 29-0 record in boxing, with 15 wins by knockout and 14 wins by decision. Haney fought twice in 2022, defeating George Kambosos Jr. by unanimous decision in both fights. He is one of the best young boxers in the game today, and if he defeats Lomachenko, it would help him keep his spot as one of the top P4P boxers today.

As for Lomachenko, the 35-year-old Ukrainian has a 17-2 record, with 11 wins by knockout and six wins by decision, and both of his losses coming by decision. Heading into this bout, Lomachenko has won his last three fights in a row, including a win over Jamaine Ortiz in 2022. A pro since 2013, Lomachenko has had a great career, but Haney looks like a tough opponent.

The betting odds have Haney as the favorite here, and I agree with it. I typically favor the younger fighter, and I will in this case.
