The Savannah Bananas have reinvented - or some might say "reinvigorated" - the National Pastime. Fans are packing stadiums across the US to see their unique brand of baseball. What are the odds of winning their lottery ticket?
“Banana Ball” has become one of the toughest tickets in sports. It includes 4 teams this season. The Bananas began their season in February. The Banana Ball Tour Championship takes place in October. Banana Ball is something that fans may have concocted if they were given the keys to the kingdom and no rules.
The quest for Banana Ball tickets has yet to reach the level of the Masters in terms of scarcity vs. demand. But the demand is astronomical. Banana Ball has earned itself a spot in the National Baseball Hall of Fame – at least in terms of an exhibit celebrating its success.
What Are The Odds Of Getting Savannah Banana Tickets?
There are multiple second-tier outlets that offer tickets to Bananas games. Of course, those are often marked up at a significant multiple of face value. The tickets themselves run from $35 to $125 when purchased directly through the team (via their fan lottery.)
The Bananas play at various venues – so the specific odds for each game vary by availability. The Bananas have sold out all their games this season through July.
Here’s a breakdown of the odds and probability of getting Savanah Bananas tickets for each of their upcoming games based on the venue size and the team’s current waiting list of 3.5 million:
