The Seattle Seahawks have officially entered a retooling period. After missing out on the playoffs last season by a tiebreaker, the Seahawks decided to completely change their team. They traded starting quarterback Gino Smith to the Las Vegas Raiders and signed QB Sam Darnold to replace him. The team also traded longtime wide receiver DK Metcalf to the Pittsburgh Steelers and let go of fellow veteran WR Tyler Lockett.

With the Seahawks looking to bounce back and get into the playoffs, they have the No. 18 draft pick to help them out on their quest to get back to the postseason. With the draft fast approaching, Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has created hypothetical NFL odds for sports betting on whom the Seahawks could take with pick 18.

Top Possible Contenders

Tyler Booker, G/C, Alabama (+500)

The Seahawks need protection on the offensive line for new QB Sam Darnold, so picking up a line-man like Tyler Booker of Alabama makes sense.

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio St. (+550)

With the Seahawks letting go of their two top wideouts, they need new wide receivers, so picking up Emeka Egbuka of Ohio State would be a solid draft pick.

Matthew Golden, WR, Texas (+600)

Matthew Golden of Texas would be another good choice for the Seahawks if he’s available and they want to take a wide receiver.

Josh Simmons, T, Ohio St. (+600)

Josh Simmons of Ohio State is another offensive lineman who could help Darnold out, so he would make a solid choice if they pick him.

Kelvin Banks Jr., WR, Texas (+800)

If the Seahawks do take a wide receiver, Kelvin Banks Jr. of Texas would be a good addition to the team.

Other Possible Choices

Kenneth Grant, DL, Michigan (+850)

Should the Seahawks look to the defensive line instead, they could target Michigan’s Kenneth Grant for their pick.

Colston Loveland, TE, Michigan (+900)

If a tight end is in play, Colston Loveland of Michigan would make sense as a pick.

Tyler Warren, TE, Penn St. (+900)

Penn State’s Tyler Warren is another tight end who would make sense in Seattle.

Nick Emmanwori, S, So. Carolina (+1200)

If the Seahawks look to the secondary instead, then Nick Emmanwori of South Carolina would be a good pick for them.

The Field (+1200)

The field is also in play, given that the Seahawks have several holes to fill this offseason.
