Carson Wentz and the Philadelphia Eagles are in must-win mode as they host an old rival in Eli Manning and the New York Giants on Monday Night Football.

The Eagles (5-7) have covered the spread in seven of their last 10 on MNF, while the Giants (2-10) are on a 7-0 ATS run on grass and 9-2 ATS as a road underdog.

PICK 1: Eagles -8.5

The Eagles continue to fall short of expectations, but they are 5-1 when they manage more than 21 points. That shouldn’t be an issue at home against a Giants team that’s allowed at least 27 points in all but two games.

New York has lost eight straight and half of them were by at least 18 points. The Giants won’t have starting QB Daniel Jones, instead Eli Manning returns for the final starts of his Super Bowl-winning career. He’s 0-5 his last five matchups against Philly and without a 100 percent Saquon Barkley to rely on against Philly’s fourth-ranked run defense, scoring is going to be an issue.

PICK 2: Under 47 Points

The Eagles were in a shootout last Sunday with the Dolphins, but the previous four games Philly games have totaled 33.3 ppg. Don’t expect much scoring from the banged-up Giants offense, either.

PICK 3: First Quarter ML (3-Way) – Eagles

It’s likely going to take some time for Manning to get back in the fold, and the Giants are already one of the worst starters in the league. They’ve been outscored by 61 points in the first quarter.

The Eagles got off to a great start at Miami last week but fell apart. Regardless of what happens later, Philly should be leading early at home in a game of huge importance in primetime.

PICK 4: Highest-Scoring Quarter – Second

This one couldn’t be more cut-and-dried. The Giants average 8.1 ppg in the second quarter, and 11.1 ppg the first, third and fourth quarters combined. The second is also the most prolific-scoring quarter for the Eagles. It’s also the quarter when both teams have allowed the most points this season.

PICK 5: First Half/End Result – Eagles/Eagles

This is a mismatch when these teams are at even strength. But with Jones out and Barkley limited and a real sense of urgency for Philadelphia, the Eagles should get off to a hot start and keep going.
