The illustrious new Allegiant Stadium opens for business on Monday Night Football when the Las Vegas Raiders play their first game at their new home against Drew Brees and the New Orleans Saints.
Each team won their season opener and each put up some points. The Saints scored 34 at home over Tom Brady and the Buccaneers, while the Raiders got 34 in a road win at Carolina.

Saints -5.5 over Raiders
WR Michael Thomas’ status is up in the air, but New Orleans has a plethora of weapons at Brees’ disposal, and he’ll contend with a Las Vegas defense that was torched by Brees' former backup, Teddy Bridgewater, in Week 1. The Raiders’ offense won’t find it as easy this time around vs. far superior Saints defenders. Breaking in a new stadium isn’t as exciting without rabid Raiders fans to fill it. Saints-Raiders Over 49.5

The Saints racked up 34 points against the Buccaneers, and that was with Brees passing for just 160 yards and Alvin Kamara rushing 12 times for 16 yards. Expect better things from both on Monday. Vegas may not find moving the ball as easy on Monday as it did in Week 1, but Josh Jacobs forcing attention to the run game makes Derek Carr a stronger QB. They’ll hold up their end of the bargain. Bet this at FanDuel.
First Quarter — Over 9.5 Points
These teams combined to score 64 points and allow 53 in Week 1 wins. They combined to punt just eight times. The Saints punted on their first two possessions but scored a TD on the third, still in the first quarter. The Raiders punted on their opening drive as well, then scored on five straight possessions (including three TDs). Needing just one TD and one FG in the opening 15 minutes, the Over looks good here. Bet this at DraftKings.

Shortest TD — Under 1.5 Yards

The Raiders can be an effective offense, but they don’t possess an explosive offense. Jacobs scored three TDs, all from short range, and one from the 1-yard line, against Carolina. The Saints allowed two TDs from 2 yards out in their opener. Look for this at BetMGM.

Each Team Scores 1 Pass TD, 1 Rush TD
I expect points to be scored, and each team has an RB that can punch it in. Jacobs had three of them in the opener, Kamara scored as well despite his limited yardage. Nobody is shutting out Brees, with or without Thomas. Will Carr hold up his end of the bargain? In the first game at Allegiant, I say yes. Find this at FanDuel.
