Alvin Kamara Trade Odds: Chiefs, Bears To Make Late Move?

The NFL trade deadline is on Nov. 4, and several big names are expected to be traded. One of those players could be New Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara. With the Saints being one of the worst teams in the league this season, the team may consider moving on from Kamara. Even though the long-time Saint has said he doesn’t want to be traded, phone calls to Saints GM Mickey Loomis are still likely, with other teams trying to acquire the star running back.
Bookies.com oddsmaker Adam Thompson has revealed his hypothetical NFL odds on where Kamara finishes the year.

New Orleans Saints (-150)
Kamara was drafted in the third round of the 2017 NFL draft, and he has remained with the Saints for his entire nine-year career. In the years since then, he has been one of the top running backs in the league, though the Saints have not had much recent success as a team. This year, the Saints are in the running for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft as the team has only won one game through the first eight weeks of the year.
Despite the Saints being a bad team, Kamara has stated that he does not want to be traded from the only club that he has ever known. Kamara is considered to be favored to stay with the Saints, but a trade is still very possible.
Kansas City Chiefs (+500)
The Chiefs have been red hot as of late, as the team looks to make the Super Bowl for a fourth straight season. Right now, the top two running backs on the squad are Isiah Pacheco and Kareem Hunt, who are both solid players, though certainly not elite. Should the Chiefs want to upgrade at the RB position ahead of the playoffs, trading for Kamara would certainly qualify.
Chicago Bears (+700)
The Bears have a decent running back in D’Andre Swift, but they could also use more depth as the team makes a playoff push in the second half of the year. Plus, the Bears have the trade assets, such as draft picks, that the Saints may be interested in if they decide to move Kamara. Picking him up would show that the Bears are serious about making it to the postseason.
Minnesota Vikings (+900)
The Vikings have Jordan Mason as their starting RB, and he’s had a great year, but veteran Aaron Jones has been a bust so far this season. Picking up someone like Kamara, who is a proven commodity, could help the Vikings shore up the position and make a late playoff push.
Arizona Cardinals (+1200)
The Cardinals lost starting RB James Conner to injury early in the season, which has really hurt their squad for the rest of the year. Even though the Cardinals are most likely not going to make the playoffs this year, they could still look to acquire Kamara with an eye to the future.
The Field (+900)
With many NFL teams in need of a running back, look for the field to be a viable option for Kamara, as other squads will make a phone call and at least inquire about his availability
