All eyes are on the arm and the ankle of Patrick Mahomes as he looks to guide the Kansas City Chiefs to a second Super Bowl win in four seasons on Sunday, Feb. 12 against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Mahomes’ 5,250 pass yards this season was nearly 500 more than any other QB, and his 41 TDs were six more than anyone else (and 11 more than fourth place).

Over 37.5 Yards Longest Pass
Odds: -110 at DraftKings ➜
Mahomes isn’t afraid to go downfield, as evidenced by nearly every game all year. Mahomes completed a pass of at least 38 yards in 12 of his 17 games. Of the five he didn’t, in three of them he had completions of 35, 36 and 36 yards.
His longest pass so far this postseason is only 29 yards. But in his previous four playoff games, he’s tossed at least one completion going 54 yards or more. Philly is elite at stopping big plays, but Mahomes is good for one of them in the Super Bowl.

Under 1.5 Passing Touchdowns
Odds: +160 at Caesars Sportsbook ➜
The Chiefs stand little chance if Mahomes can’t find paydirt at least two times through the air. KC is 14-1 when he tosses two or more TDs this season, and 3-2 when he doesn’t. Last year against Philly, he had a modest 278 pass yards but a massive five TDs.
The Eagles allowed only 21 pass TDs in 17 regular season games and only two TDs combined through two playoff games. Mahomes looks to Kelce, but Philadelphia has allowed only three TDs to tight ends all year. TDs are going to be tough to come by, and KC might have better matchups on the ground.

Over 38.5 Pass Attempts
Odds: -115 at DraftKings ➜
When push comes to shove, Chiefs coach Andy Reid puts the ball in the hands of Mahomes. He’s averaging nearly 40 pass attempts in postseason games. If Kansas City gets behind, which odds at online sportsbooks suggest it could, Mahomes could go for even more.
The Chiefs were 7-0 this season when Mahomes tossed at least 41 balls. There’s no easy way to move the ball on the Eagles, but short passes to Travis Kelce are likely to be a big part of the equation.
Anytime Touchdown
Odds: +500 at BetMGM ➜
This one is worth a sprinkle on Kansas betting apps. Mahomes is coming in limping with his painful high ankle sprain. It’s going to make doing everything more difficult. But it may not affect Mahomes’ mindset, and his belief that he can do it all.
We saw it in the clutch first-down run (and penalty drawn) that set up the game-winning FG in the AFC Championship. Philly is going to bring intense pressure. Mahomes, whether he should or not, is going to take off. He’s had two rushing TDs the last four games.
