At this time last year, the Cincinnati Bengals were +4000 to win the AFC. Only the Jaguars and Jets had higher NFL odds. The Los Angeles Rams were +1200 to win the Super Bowl, up from +2000 a couple weeks before word of a Matthew Stafford trade was pending.

For those looking for real value, the time is now to find it on the NFL futures market.

Our NFL handicapper Adam Thompson just concluded a third-consecutive year of hitting over 62% of his NFL picks, including a +980 profit on Super Bowl 56. Here he reveals three futures bets to consider for Super Bowl 57 right now.

Best Super Bowl 57 Futures Bets To Make Now

Best Value: Green Bay Packers

Odds: +1600 at DraftKings

For two straight seasons, the Packers have been the No. 1 team in the regular season only to fall flat in a home playoff game.

Still, the Packers passed every eye test, had the MVP at quarterback, top-tier skill players and a defense full of playmakers – despite being without two of their top three defense and top offensive lineman for much of it.

This price means oddsmakers at betting sites are unsure of the status of QB Aaron Rodgers. He’s the best ball-thrower in the game but there’s no guarantee he’ll be back. That said, word got out that Green Bay management plans to go “all-in” with Rodgers next year. It worked in L.A. this season.

The Packers were already the league’s top regular-season team. Getting them at these odds on betting apps is going to be a steal if A-Rod returns.

Top favorite: Buffalo Bills

Odds: +750 at DraftKings

The last six years, the Super Bowl champion has ranked in the top six in scoring as offense continues to be the trend that makes teams into champions.

This season’s top six offenses were the Cowboys, Buccaneers, Bills, Chiefs, Chargers and Rams. Dallas has questions on both sides of the ball this offseason and Tampa must replace Tom Brady. Of the three remaining teams, the Chiefs’ defense ranked 27th overall, the Chargers 23rd.

The Bills? They had the NFL’s top-ranked defense. Josh Allen and the offense is still ascending and was a coin flip away from playing for the Super Bowl this year. Another year older and wiser, with a defense that also ranks far better than Cincinnati’s (18th), the Bills have a leg up in what should be a competitive AFC.

Leading Darkhorse: Los Angeles Chargers

Odds: +2500 at DraftKings

The Chargers don’t get the nod over the Bills quite yet, but when it comes to value on the board, it’s hard to beat these NFL betting odds with an offense like this. The defense needs work, but its No. 11-ranked pass D is promising.

There’s no denying L.A. has the QB it needs in Justin Herbert and defensive standouts including Joey Bosa. What it also has that most other contenders don’t, is salary cap space for 2022. The Chargers currently own over $57 million in cap space – only the Dolphins have more.

Of the top eight teams in cap space for 2022, only the Bengals (10-7) made the playoffs, but the Chargers (9-8) were just one game behind, failing to advance on tiebreakers. It’s a close call between those two teams. These odds offer nearly twice the value at top betting sites.
