Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills Over/Under

The Over has hit in six of the last seven Titans games on Monday. As prolific as the offenses can be, the defenses are just as stout and perhaps more consistent. Buffalo held the Rams to just 243 total yards, the second-lowest total in Week 1. The Titans got gashed by Saquon Barkley but their pass D ranked fourth. 

Each side is suited to limit, to some extent, the other’s strength. Each team played in games that totaled 41 points in Week 1. Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills Moneyline

Tennessee is going to feed Henry. A lot. If it works, the Titans stay in this game. If it doesn’t, things could get ugly. 

Either way, the Bills, at home, is a tough get for a Tennessee team that failed to play a full four quarters against Daniel Jones and the Giants. When looking at the NFL odds, the -450 price for Buffalo is big, but if you’re playing a moneyline side, Buffalo is it.

The more the Titans feed their RB1, the higher probability for team success. Only once in eight games did Henry rush for under 20 yards, and that was in Week 1 in a 25-point blowout loss. They were 6-1 in the games he got 20-plus carries. In 2020, the Titans were 0-1 when he got 21-plus carries, 1-4 when he didn’t. 

Henry rushed 21 times for 82 yards in last week’s surprising home loss to the Giants. Buffalo allowed only 52 rush yards in Week 1, but the Rams don’t have anyone resembling Derrick Henry. The key for Tennessee is keeping the ball for as long as possible and keeping Josh Allen off the field. Henry should get the rock 25-plus times. Get these plus odds at DraftKings. 

Devin Singletary, Over 44.5 Rushing Yards

Odds: -115 at BetMGM

Singletary gained 48 yards against the stout Rams run defense – on only eight carries. No team, meanwhile, allowed more than the 238 rushing yards the Titans gave up to the Giants. 

Simply, Buffalo is a better team when Singletary is involved more. They were 7-0 last season when he received 12-plus carries, and 4-6 when he didn’t. All seven of those wins were by double figures, six by at least two TDs. If Allen is on, the lanes open for Singletary. Get these odds at BetMGM.
