Cardinals vs Seahawks Betting Analysis

These are two of the best offensive teams in the NFL for similar reasons. The Cardinals and the Seahawks have dynamic passers who can make plays outside of the pocket with their arms. They also have the added threat of moving the chains with their legs, making them nearly impossible to defend.

Both teams have elite wide receivers and weapons galore on offense. However, both teams have similar weaknesses. They each can be exposed through the air (depending on the opponent) and don't have the pass rush to threaten opposing passers. They need their offenses to be elite to win games. And if they aren't, they have no chance to win as we saw last week with the Seahawks falling to the Rams.

The Seahawks open this game as moneyline favorites and that makes sense given how the last game went. Seattle held a double-digit lead with just a few minutes left in that game but costly penalties and mental mistakes cost the Seahawks that game. With the Seahawks being at home, Seattle should be favored here.

However, it's worth mentioning that Seattle has lost three of its past four games, with the only win against an incredibly banged-up 49ers' team. Still, given the short week and the fact that Seattle is at home, look for the Seahawks to win this game outright and stay atop of the NFC West with the Rams. Bet the Seahawks moneyline at William Hill.

As for the point spread, Arizona has proven that it can hang with the best teams in the NFL. After the last-second win against the Bills, the Cardinals are 6-3 on the season. While it may be too much to ask for the Cardinals to win this game, they should be able to stay within the 3.5-point spread.

The Seahawks have failed to cover in four of their last five games and haven't covered in any of their previous five games at home against the Cardinals. Arizona knows how to stick around in games and the offense should allow the Cards to keep this within a field goal, at worst. Don't be surprised if this comes down to a last-second kick or overtime once again as these two teams are so eventually matched. Bet on the Cardinals to cover at Unibet.

The point total is incredibly high in this contest, as you would expect with two elite offenses. At 57.5, it's the highest point total of the week by a large margin. Can both teams get to 30 or more points? That doesn't seem inconceivable, but look for both sides to use the run game to protect their defenses. Look for there to be a ton of points in this game, but for the under to ultimately hit in Seattle. Bet the Under with FOX Bet.
