The second meeting between the Denver Broncos and the Las Vegas Raiders suddenly feels like a playoff game. With both teams sitting at 7-7, they can’t afford to drop another game if they want to stay alive in the Wild Card hunt.

The Raiders are coming off a big win on Monday, defeating the Browns on a last-second field goal in Cleveland. Meanwhile, the Broncos lost their starting quarterback in Teddy Bridgewater due to a concussion and will start Drew Lock in his place in Week 16.

To get you ready for this AFC West matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective along with our NFL picks going into Week 16.

Check out the latest Broncos vs Raiders odds, betting lines, injury report and more.

Broncos vs. Raiders Matchups

Broncos WR Jerry Jeudy vs. Raiders CB Casey Hayward Jr.: Jeudy did not catch a pass in Week 15 and has not gone over 80 yards in any game this season. He’ll likely be covered by Hayward, who has been one of the league’s best cornerbacks this season.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow vs. Broncos CB Bryce Callahan: The Browns held Renfrow in check in Week 15, but look for the slot receiver to have a big day against the Broncos on Sunday.

Broncos LT Garrett Boles vs. Raiders DE Yannick Ngakoue: Boles has struggled this year at left tackle and he will have his hands full with Ngakoue on Sunday.

Broncos vs. Raiders Stats

1-7: The Broncos are 1-7 ATS in their last eight games against the Raiders.

5-1: The Raiders have won five of their last six games against the Broncos.

26.7: The Raiders have the No. 30 scoring defense in the NFL, allowing 26.7 points per game.

17.4: The Broncos have the No. 2-ranked scoring defense, allowing only 17.4 points per game.

-75: The Raiders have a -75 point differential despite a 7-7 record.

Broncos vs. Raiders Moneyline

The Denver Broncos will be forced to start Drew Lock at quarterback against the Raiders here in Week 16. That is problematic for Denver as he’s not played well against the Raiders in the past. In four career games against the Raiders, he’s thrown four touchdowns and four interceptions.

He did not impress in limited action against the Bengals in Week 15 and this is already one of the worst offenses in the NFL. Look for the Raiders to pressure him early and often in this game and come up with the win at home. Take the Raiders to win (-120) on DraftKings in Week 16.

Broncos vs. Raiders Point Spread

The Raiders have had a lot of success against the Broncos over the last few years. They defeated them early in the season in Denver (34-24) in a game that was never really close. The Raiders seem to have a good idea on how to slow down this offense and with Lock at quarterback, it’s just tough to see Denver scoring a lot of points in this game.

Take the Raiders -1.5 (-110) on your favorite sports betting site as this should be a close game in Las Vegas on Sunday.

Broncos vs. Raiders Totals

Both offenses have struggled a lot in recent weeks, but the Raiders have scored more than 16 points just once in their last seven games. Meanwhile, the Broncos have struggled to score consistently as well as they’ve scored a combined 19 points against their last two AFC opponents.

This game should be a low-scoring contest with both teams trying to establish the run and keep their defense off the field. Expect a 20-17 type of game here that likely comes down to the final possession. Take the Under 42.5 (-110) in this AFC West matchup. Keep an eye on this total as it does differ at several sportsbooks.
