The Philadelphia Eagles again are in search of an offensive coordinator after moving on from Kevin Patullo, who was dismissed following the team's Wild Card loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

As interviews for the position take place, Bookies.com has put together hypothetical NFL betting odds for who will get the gig.

Eagles Offensive Coordinator Odds

The search is currently focused on finding an "established name" with significant play-calling experience. Former head coaches Brian Daboll and Mike McDaniel have emerged as the frontrunners, though both are also head coach candidates for other clubs.

The following chart and table represent projected betting odds and implied probabilities based on candidate status, interview schedules, and insider reports from outlets like The Athletic and CBS Sports.

Daboll, McDaniel Top Contenders

Urgency for Experience: After the struggles of Kevin Patullo in 2025, Howie Roseman and Nick Sirianni are reportedly prioritizing veteran play-callers who can immediately maximize the talents of Jalen Hurts, Saquon Barkley, and the receiving corps.

The "Head Coach" Tier: Both Daboll and McDaniel are the consensus top choices. However, both are also being vetted for vacant Head Coaching positions (Daboll with the Bills; McDaniel with the Ravens/Browns). Their availability for a coordinator role will depend on how those HC cycles play out.

Of interest: Next Cleveland Browns Head Coach Odds.

The Power Dynamic: Reporting indicates that candidates are seeking "complete autonomy" over offensive operations, similar to the control Kellen Moore exerted during the 2024 Super Bowl season.

Other Possible Candidates

Kliff Kingsbury - A veteran name with a penchant for high-octane passing, Kingsbury is under serious consideration after "parting ways" with the Commanders. His experience managing dual-threat stars could provide a unique lens for Jalen Hurts’ development, though some wonder if his "Air Raid" roots mesh with the Eagles' heavy investment in Saquon Barkley.

Mike Kafka - The former Eagles QB and former Giants OC interviewed on January 17. Kafka is a product of the Andy Reid coaching tree and is credited with helping Patrick Mahomes transition into the NFL. His knowledge of the NFC East and his reputation for "modernizing" traditional West Coast concepts make him a strategic choice.

Zac Robinson - The former Falcons OC and Sean McVay disciple was the first to interview this cycle (Jan 16). Robinson is known for utilizing "pre-snap motion" and "heavy personnel groupings"—two areas where the Eagles’ offense stagnated in 2025. He is currently one of the most "in-demand" young coordinators on the market despite an up and down tenure in Atlanta.

Jim Bob Cooter - The current Colts OC (and former Eagles consultant) interviewed on January 17. Cooter has a long-standing rapport with Sirianni and is widely respected for his work with veteran QBs. He is reportedly looking for an opportunity where he has 100% control over the play-calling duties.

Josh Grizzard - While his lone season as the Bucs play-caller in 2025 was hampered by significant injuries to Baker Mayfield and key receivers, he remains a popular "innovation" candidate for teams looking for a fresh perspective outside their own coaching tree.

Frank Reich Reunion?

One candidate not on our board just yet? Frank Reich.

Reich is the sentimental favorite for many in Philadelphia. He was the architect of the 2017 Super Bowl offense and has an "older brother" relationship with Nick Sirianni, who served as Reich’s OC in Indianapolis. Most recently, Reich served as a senior advisor and interim head coach at Stanford in 2025. While he hasn't coached in the NFL since his awful 2023 stint in Carolina, his deep ties to the building and proven ability to design championship-level schemes make him a top-tier candidate for an "established" hire.
