Which active NFL starting quarterback has the best career record against the spread? Stick around and you’ll find out.

We are tracking every NFL starting QB used in the 2024-25 NFL betting season. Each week, we update how much money you would have won or lost backing them ATS on various betting apps each time they've started, including the postseason. We use the standard -110 odds in determining the amount of overall money won.

Through Week 11, Cincinnati QB Joe Burrow holds the highest winning percentage against the spread of any NFL starting QB this season, with 20 or more career starts. The Bengals are 43-25-2 (63.2%) ATS in the 70 regular-season and postseason games started by Burrow since he was chosen with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Injuries have sidelined him in parts of 2 of his 5 seasons.

Those backing the Bengals in each of Burrow's starts with $100 at standard spread odds of -110 would be up $1,408.70

Rams QB Matthew Stafford is the least profitable QB who has played in the NFL this season. Stafford is 100-118-6 (45.7%) ATS with the Rams and Lions. Those who backed Stafford in each of his 234 career regular-season and postseason starts would be down a steep $2,710.

2024 NFL QBs Ranked Against The Spread

Every Starting NFL QB Ranked By Record Against The Spread 1

Here is a look at the 32 NFL starting quarterbacks who started in Week 11 (or whose team was on the bye and started in Week 10) ranked by their career percentage against the spread, including the postseason. Our list is updated weekly during the season. Percentage ties are broken by the amount of money won/lost.

Each QB is listed with his current team, overall record against the spread in 2024-25, career, cover percentage, and the amount of money a would-be bettor would have won or lost backing them each week of their NFL career, using the above formula.

New Faces, QB Replacements In 2024

Every Starting NFL QB Ranked By Record Against The Spread 2

Thus far, 45 different QBs have started in the NFL this season. No QBs made their first start of the season in Week 11. But Tommy DeVito will take over for Daniel Jones in Week 12 after the Giants come off their bye.

QB Aaron Rodgers of the Jets remains the oldest player in the NFL this season. And, no surprise, has the most career starts on our list. Those who have backed Rodgers over his career have done well. But are slipping of late.

The Jets and Packers are 141-108-7 (55.1%) ATS in Rodgers' 256 career starts. Those backing Rodgers with $100 per start at -110 would be up $2,016.90 over his Hall of Fame career.

For comparison, Tom Brady covered 56.4% of his 381 starts, which included his 47 games in the postseason. He went 215-158-8 all-time ATS. If you were able to bet $100 on Brady every week using the industry standard -110 ATS odds, you would have retired up $3,743.50.

The rookie QBs starting in Week 1 in the NFL this season were: Caleb Williams of the Bears, Jayden Daniels of the Commanders, and Bo Nix of the Denver Broncos.

Teams With More Than One Starting QB In 2024

  • Browns: Deshaun Watson ruptured his Achilles in Week 7 and will be lost for the season. Jameis Winston started in Week 8.
  • Colts: Joe Flacco took over for the injured Anthony Richardson in Week 4 and got the start in Week 5. Richardson was subsequently benched for tapping out in Week 8. Flacco was back in Week 9. And Richardson returned in Week 11.
  • Commanders: Jayden Daniels injured a rib in Week 7 and sat for much of Washington's win over Carolina. Marcus Mariota took over. Daniels started in Week 8.
  • Cowboys: Dak Prescott is done for the season. Cooper Rush got the start for Dallas in Week 10. But he was replaced in-game against Philadelphia by Trey Lance.
  • Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa suffered a concussion and was subsequently placed on the IR in Week 2 as the Dolphins lost 31-10 to Buffalo. He was replaced by Skylar Thompson, who was subsequently replaced by Tyler Huntley in Week 4. Tua was back in Week 8.
  • Jaguars: Mac Jones took over for the injured Trevor Lawrence in Week 10 and started in Week 11.
  • Giants: The Daniel Jones Error is over. Tommy DeVito returns as the Giants starter in Week 12 after the bye.
  • Packers: Jordan Love suffered a knee injury in Green Bay's Week 1 34-29 loss to the Eagles in Brazil. He was replaced by Malik Willis. Love started in Week 5 but was hurt again in Week 8 and replaced again by Willis. Love started in Week 9.
  • Panthers: Carolina pulled the plug on Bryce Young in exchange for veteran Andy Dalton after they fell to 0-2/0-2 with a Week 2 loss to the Chargers. Young got the start again in Week 8.
  • Patriots: New England started rookie Drake Maye in Week 6 at home against Houston in place of Jacoby Brissett. Maye suffered a concussion in New England's Week 8 over the Jets. Brissett took over in-game. Maye started in Week 9.
  • Raiders: Las Vegas started Aidan O'Connell in place of Gardner Minshew in Week 6 against the Steelers. But O'Connell got hurt in Week 7, forcing Minshew back into action. Minshew started again in Week 8.
  • Saints: Rookie Spence Rattler started in place of the injured Derek Carr in Week 6. Rattler was terrible and got benched in a 33-10 loss to Denver in Week 7 for Jake Haener. But head coach Sean Payton said Rattler is his starter until Carr's return. Haener played again in Week 8. Carr returned for the start in Week 9.
  • Steelers: Russell Wilson took over for the Steelers in Week 7, replacing Justin Fields.
  • Titans: Mason Rudolph got his first start for the Titans during Week 7 in place of Will Levis. The Titans were trounced by the Bills 34-10 and Lions 52-14 since. Levis returned in Week 10.

Other QBs Who Have Started In 2024

When QBs are replaced, we'll add the newcomers to the list. Last year, more than 60 different QBs started games in the NFL, so expect the ranks here to grow.

Here's the list of the QBs who have started at least one game in 2024 but did not start in Week 10. Each is ranked by career-winning percentage ATS.
