After four weeks, the NFC East looks like it’s the Cowboys’ to lose. They sit at 3-1, atop of the division. However, the Giants have looked good in multiple games this season and got an impressive road win in New Orleans last week.

Could this battle between two historic franchises come down to the wire on Sunday? Or will the Cowboys show that they are really a legit Super Bowl contender in the NFC and blowout a lesser team?

To get you ready for this NFC East matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective going into Week 5.

Check out the latest Cowboys vs. Giants odds, betting lines, injury report and more.

Giants vs. Cowboys Key Matchups

Giants LT Andrew Thomas vs. Cowboys DE Randy Gregory: Thomas has improved in Year 2, but Gregory is coming off a two-sack game against the Panthers.

Cowboys WR Amari Cooper vs. Giants James Bradberry: Cooper is dealing with rib and hamstring injuries and will face-off against one of the league’s best cornerbacks in Bradberry.

Cowboys QB Dak Prescott vs. Giants DB Logan Ryan: Prescott was hurt in Week 5 last year on a tackle by Ryan. Look for Prescott to be ultra aggressive targeting him from the slot in this game.

Giants vs Cowboys Player Props

Giants RB Saquon Barkley over 54.5 rushing yards (-115 at DraftKings): ) The Cowboys have not allowed a ton of rushing yards this season, but no one has really tried to stick with the run either. Look for the Giants to lean on their rushing attack in this game to keep the Cowboys offense off the field. It is worth noting that in four career games against the Cowboys, Barkley has averaged 71.3 rushing yards per game.

Cowboys TE Blake Jarwin over 22.5 yards (-120 at DraftKings): ) The biggest performance of Jarwin’s career came in 2018 against the Giants, when he caught 7 passes for 119 yards and three touchdowns. Throughout his career, he’s found ways to beat the Giants down the middle of the field. And with the Giants likely missing FS Jabrill Peppers, it seems likely that Jarwin will have another big game in Week 5.

Cowboys RB Tony Pollard over 38.5 rushing yards (-115 at DraftKings): ) Pollard has averaged 78.7 rushing yards per game over the last three weeks, and it’s clear that he is going to have a big role in this offense for the rest of the season. With Ezekiel Elliott dealing with a knee issue, look for Pollard to get 10-12 carries and easily go over 38.5 rushing yards. With his speed and playmaking ability, he could do that one rush.

Giants vs. Cowboys Moneyline

The Cowboys have won most of their games against the Giants in recent memory with their last loss coming in Week 17 with Andy Dalton as their starter. Before that, they had won seven straight games.

The Giants are certainly an improved team, but they just don’t have the consistency on offense to keep up with the Cowboys. However, while the moneyline seems like the right play in this game with Dallas, divisional games tend to be a bit random. Instead, pass on the moneyline on betting apps in favor of the point spread as it doesn’t offer enough value (-310 Cowboys).

Giants vs. Cowboys Point Spread

The Joe Judge era in New York has gotten off to a shaky start, but he has done a good job of keeping the team competitive on the road. More importantly, they tend to keep divisional games close. Even in Week 5 last year, it was a tied game going into the final minute of the fourth quarter.

Don’t be surprised if this game is close as the Giants do have a pass rush that could slow down the Cowboys. Plus, 7 points is a lot for a divisional game and some betting sites and sportsbooks even have this line at Cowboys +7.5.

Be sure to shop around for the best lines, but consider taking the Giants +7 on DraftKings (-110) as this game might be closer than you would think.

Giants vs. Cowboys Totals

The NFL line for the total on this game is set at 52.5 points, which feels about right considering how good the Cowboys have been on offense this year. It also doesn’t hurt that Daniel Jones is playing the best football of his career and he has playmakers all over the field.

Saquon Barkley looks like he is finally recovered from his knee injury and even players like John Ross and Kadarius Toney are contributing on offense. But again, divisional games tend to be closer and lower-scoring than most anticipate.

Look for both teams to rely on their rushing attacks to keep their defenses off the field. Take the Under 52.5 (-110) on FanDuel in this game as this looks to be a 27-23 type of matchup in Dallas.
