The first Saturday game of the season will feature the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns. Both teams are still in the playoff hunt in the AFC and the Browns even have a good chance of winning the AFC North.

However, Cleveland is in a tough spot here as they are in the middle of a COVID-19 outbreak. This week alone, the Browns have already placed 10 players on the reserve/COVID-19 list, including Baker Mayfield, Jedrick Wills and Jarvis Landry.

That doesn’t even include their head coach Kevin Stefanski, who tested positive on Wednesday morning. Needless to say, the Browns are going to be severely short-handed against the Raiders this week.

To get you ready for this AFC matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective along with our NFL picks going into Week 15.

Take a look at Browns vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Raiders vs. Browns Matchups

Raiders RT Brandon Parker vs. Browns DE Myles Garrett: Parker has really struggled at right tackle this season, but now he is in for a real test against Myles Garrett and Jadeveon Clowney. It could be a long day for Parker and the Raiders.

Browns WR Donovon Peoples-Jones vs. Raiders CB Casey Hayward Jr.: With Jarvis Landry out, look for “DPJ” to be the No. 1 weapon for Case Keenum. Hayward has been one of the best corners in the NFL this season, but he has a significant size disadvantage in this matchup.

Raiders WR Hunter Renfrow vs. Browns CB Denzel Ward: Renfrow has posted three straight games over 100 yards. Expect Ward to follow him in the slot to slow down the best passing weapon for the Raiders.

Raiders vs. Browns Stats

1-5: The Raiders are 1-5 straight up and against the spread in their last six games.

21.4: The Browns have the No. 19 scoring offense in the NFL, averaging only 21.4 points per game.

1-4: The Browns are 1-4 ATS in their last five home games.

27.7: The Raiders have the No. 31-ranked scoring defense in the NFL, allowing 27.7 PPG.

-77: The Raiders have a point differential of -77 this season despite a 6-7 record.

Raiders vs. Browns Moneyline

Going into this game, you would have thought this would have been an easy game for the Browns. They are at home on a short week and need this win to stay alive in the AFC North division hunt. However, it’s going to take an incredible team effort to win this game without so many starters and their head coach.

We did see them do this before, beating the Steelers in the Wild Card Round of the playoffs despite several starters being out. But this is a much more severe situation. Take the Raiders -118 on FanDuel and expect Las Vegas to win a 17-14 type of game in Cleveland.

Raiders vs. Browns Point Spread

We have never seen an NFL spread move this much over the course of the week. Cleveland opened the week as a 6-point home favorite over Las Vegas. Now, that line sits at Raiders -2.5 on some sportsbooks after more than a dozen players were put on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Browns.

Cleveland is missing nearly every single starter from their offense and over 11 total starters in this game. As bad as the Raiders have played over the last two months, it’s hard not to take them here. Take the Raiders -1 (-110) on DraftKings and look for them to win an ugly game on Saturday afternoon.

Raiders vs. Browns Totals

Much like the spread, the point total has seen a major drop over the last few days. This total started at 45 or 46 depending on the betting sites you use, but has fallen all the way down to 38.5 on other betting apps.

The Raiders have really struggled on offense over the last few weeks, scoring a combined 24 points in the last two games. Meanwhile, the Browns will have an entirely new offensive line this week on top of a new starting quarterback in Keenum. Take the Under 38.5 (-110) on BetMGM and expect a ton of rushing attempts and ball-control offense by both teams in Week 15.
