We have made it. It’s Week 17 and it’s our last 16-game slate of the year. But this is probably the most challenging week of the year as DFS players have to navigate through teams resting players in preparation either for the playoffs or the offseason. So here are our best picks for the final week of the 2020 season, all with prices from DraftKings.

Best Week 17 DFS QB

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers ($7,400 on DraftKings)

Matchup: at Bears

Finding an elite quarterback this week could be a little difficult because so many teams could rest players as they prepare for the playoffs. But the Green Bay Packers have a ton to play for. They need a win to clinch the NFC’s No. 1 seed (with a first-round playoff bye) and that means we should see a whole bunch of Aaron Rodgers.

Rodgers is an expensive pick, but he has dominated Chicago. In 24 career games against the Bears, Rodgers has thrown 51 touchdowns to just 10 interceptions. He has averaged 240.5 yards per game and that number has risen over the past half a decade. With the MVP on the line, look for Rodgers to have another 300-yard, three-touchdown game as he and the Packers look to wrap up the bye.

Best Week 17 DFS RB

Colts RB Jonathan Taylor ($7,400)

NFL Week 17 DFS Picks: Motivation Guessing Game for Finales 1

Matchup: vs. Jaguars

After a disappointing start to the year, rookie running back Jonathan Taylor has turned into a star over the past month. In his past five games, he has 583 total yards from scrimmage and six touchdowns. In fantasy production, that equates to 22 points per game in PPR leagues.

This week, the Colts enter a must-win game for their playoff hopes against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Against the 30th-ranked run defense in the NFL, Taylor should be in for a monster game. Look for the Colts to ride their rookie their to another 100-yard day with multiple touchdown opportunities. Outside of Derrick Henry, who is priced at $9,400, Taylor is a must-play in Week 17.

Best Week 17 DFS WR

Titans WR A.J. Brown ($7,200)

Matchup: at Texans

The Titans also need to win to clinch their current playoff seeding. Tennessee can clinch the AFC South and the No. 4 seed in the conference with a victory. If they lose, they might need to go on the road in the first round of the playoffs, and there is even a slim chance they’d miss out completely.

That is why A.J. Brown is a fantastic play in Week 17. He faces a Texans’ defense that is missing a ton of important pieces in their secondary. Brown is averaging a rock-solid 71.1 yards per game this season and has scored double-digit touchdowns for the first-time in his career. In his three career games against the Texans, he has totaled 320 yards and four touchdowns. Expect another huge game this week as the Titans will need him to produce.

Best Week 17 DFS TE

Ravens TE Mark Andrews ($5,800)

NFL Week 17 DFS Picks: Motivation Guessing Game for Finales 2

Matchup: at Bengals

If you thought finding a playable tight end was tough through the first 16 weeks of the season, Week 17 is going to be nearly impossible. Travis Kelce is expected to rest for the Chiefs and who knows what the 49ers and Raiders will do with George Kittle and Darren Waller, respectively.

But one tight end who is expected to play and play a lot is Mark Andrews of the Baltimore Ravens. Much like a lot of players on this week’s DFS list, Andrews is on a team that must win to secure a playoff spot. Facing the Cincinnati Bengals sets up as another big opportunity for the third-year tight end. Andrews has been incredibly steady over the past five games, going over 60 receiving yards in each contest. In total, he has racked up 377 yards and two touchdowns in that period.

Against a defense that has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points to opposing tight ends, Andrews is a strong, safe play in Week 17. He’s a lock to get you 12 or more points and has the touchdown potential to do much more damage. At just $5,800, Andrews should be in your lineup as he is a fantastic value this week.

Best Week 17 DFS FLEX

Giants RB Wayne Gallman ($5,300)

Matchup: vs. Cowboys

It takes a lot of guts to start a running back in DFS who has totaled 56 rushing yards in the past two weeks. But Wayne Gallman is absolutely someone you should have in your lineup in Week 17. Going against the Dallas Cowboys, who have allowed multiple games of 250 rushing yards or more this season, Gallman should be in for a big workload in a must-win game for the Giants. Gallman is a capable receiver and should see a few targets this week to boost his floor, as well.

Gallman has been a productive DFS player at times this season. From Weeks 8-13, he totaled 425 yards from scrimmage and five touchdowns in five games. His workload has decreased some in recent weeks because New York has fallen behind in games. Don’t expect that to be the case in Week 17 as the Giants should hang with the Cowboys all game long.
