And in Survivor Pools you simply pick a winner and move on. You might want save the biggest favorite for a week down the road.
Here is the Week 2 pick that gets you to the next week of your Survivor Pool and puts you in good position for future weeks:
San Francisco 49ers

The Niners began defense of their NFC Championship with a disappointing loss at the hands of the Arizona Cardinals. An inauspicious start fora team with such high hopes.
But that creates a sense of urgency to avoid an 0-2 start. It’s been nearly 15 years since a team started 0-2 then went on to win the Super Bowl.
They’ll get the opportunity to bounce back against a team that was projected to be among the worst before the season began, met those expectations with a horrible Week 1 performance and lost its top playmaker in the process.
The New York Jets were outgained 409-267 in a loss to the Bills. They were down 21-3 at halftime. Without Le’Veon Bell (hamstring), the Jets’ weapons around QB Sam Darnold are few, and certainly nothing like Kyler Murray or DeAndre Hopkins, who the Niners had to contend with in their opener.
The Niners have their own injury issues, but they also have more weapons. San Francisco’s defense can shut down New York, despite the loss of CB Richard Sherman. And even without TE George Kittle, QB Jimmy Garoppolo and QB Raheem Mostert can do more than enough on offense to get their team to 1-1.
San Francisco is about a touchdown favorite in NFL odds.
