NFL Week 3 proved to be another profitable week for us here at Bookies.com as our lineup cashed in most DFS contests. The stack of Jameis Winston-Mike Evans was the difference-maker as the two connected three different times for touchdowns in the first half. Together, the two combined for more than 77 points while both being moderately priced.

Week 4 is our first week in 2019 with bye weeks as the San Francisco 49ers and New York Jets are off this week.

Week 4 Quarterback Best Bet

Seahawks QB Russell Wilson ($6,100 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

Russell Wilson has quickly turned into one of the most consistent DFS quarterbacks, averaging nearly 30 points per game despite playing in a run-heavy offense. Last week, Wilson put up monster numbers against the Saints defense, totaling over 450 yards with four touchdowns. He led all scorers in fantasy points (44.34) and has the potential to do that again in Week 4 with another soft matchup.

Arizona just allowed backup quarterback Kyle Allen to throw for 250 yards and four touchdowns on the road. Through three weeks, the Cardinals have allowed an average of 30.3 fantasy points per game, and they haven't even faced a caliber of quarterback like Wilson. Expect Wilson to light up the scoreboard once again as the Cardinals have proven they can't stop anyone.

Week 4 Running Back Best Bet

Raiders RB Josh Jacobs ($5,100 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Oakland Raiders at Indianapolis Colts

NFL Week 4 DFS Top Players and Best Team to Play on Sunday 1

During the first two weeks of the NFL season, first-round pick Josh Jacobs was a solid play as an RB2. In his first two games, he combined for 212 yards and two touchdowns on just 36 touches But in Week 3, Jacobs was a disappointing play as he touched the ball only 10 times and recorded 44 yards. A negative game-script played a factor in his limited role as the Raiders quickly found themselves in a 21-0 hole.

After the game, head coach Jon Gruden acknowledged that the team needs to get him more touches, especially in the passing game. Could this be a case where the squeaky wheel gets the oil? Possibly.

Jacobs is arguably the team's best offensive weapon and could see a ton of work against Indianapolis, who have allowed the seventh-most fantasy points to opposing running backs. At just the price of $5,100, he's an excellent pick for an RB2 this week.

Week 4 Wide Receiver Best Bet

Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett ($6,300 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Seattle Seahawks at Arizona Cardinals

If you are going to play Wilson this week, you might as well stack him with his top receiver in Tyler Lockett. Over the last two weeks, Lockett has received 26 targets and has converted them into 233 yards and one touchdown. Wilson has a connection with Lockett, and he is starting to see enough targets to produce at an elite level consistently.

With the Cardinals lacking talent cornerbacks, especially with Patrick Peterson still suspended, Lockett could be poised to have another monster game. Through three weeks, Arizona has allowed the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing wide receivers.

In Week 3, both D.J. Moore and Curtis Samuel of the Panthers had breakout performances against Arizona despite playing with a backup quarterback. Given the chemistry between the quarterback and receiver, Lockett has WR1 upside in Week 4 at the moderate price of $6,300.

Week 4 Tight End Best Bet

Lions TE T.J. Hockenson ($3,300 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Detroit Lions at Kansas City Chiefs

NFL Week 4 DFS Top Players and Best Team to Play on Sunday 2

For the last few weeks, we have suggested playing Darren Waller in the tight end spot, and that has proven to be beneficial. However, Waller's price ($5,200) has jumped significantly for Week 4 as he now the third-most-expensive tight end behind Travis Kelce ($7,200) and Evan Engram ($5,700). While Waller isn't a bad play for Week 4, a cheaper option is T.J. Hockenson of the Lions.

In Week 4, Hockenson saw just four targets, but two of them occurred in the end zone. Both times, he nearly brought in the passes for scores before they were deflected away. With Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs coming to town, the Lions are going to be forced to throw the ball a lot.

At just $3,300, there is some touchdown upside here with the hopes that Hockenson will receive close to double-digit targets if you are looking to go cheap at tight end this week, considering playing Hockenson versus Kansas City.

Week 4 Flex Best Bet

Chiefs WR Sammy Watkins ($ 6,700 on DraftKings)

Matchup: Kansas City Chiefs at Detroit Lions

One of my favorite plays this week is Sammy Watkins. After exploding in Week 1, Watkins has had back-to-back average games (113 yards and no touchdowns) as the team's No. 1 receiver with Tyreek Hill out. But with Patrick Mahomes playing in a dome for the first time in his NFL career, the Chiefs could put up a show in Detroit.

Watkins is moderately priced again ($6,700) and has the upside to finish as the top receiver for Week 4. Detroit has struggled to stop top receivers through three weeks, allowing the seventh-most fantasy points to receivers. Watkins's upside is worth the play here alone.
