It’s been quite a week for the Las Vegas Raiders. They are coming off a two-game losing streak, falling to Khalil Mack and the Bears in Week 5. Now, their head coach is gone as Jon Gruden resigned on Monday night. The Raiders will take on the Broncos in a huge divisional matchup as both teams are looking to avoid dropping their third straight game.

After a strong 3-0 start, the Broncos have crashed down to earth. Their offense really struggled in Week 5 against the Steelers as they put up just six points in the first three quarters of that game. If Denver wants to be a playoff team in 2021, the offense has to play better and they must get a win against the Raiders at home.

To get you ready for this AFC West matchup, here is everything you need to know from an NFL betting perspective going into Week 6.

Take a look at Broncos vs Raiders odds, injury report, betting lines and more.

Raiders vs. Broncos Key Matchups

Raiders RT Brandon Parker vs. Broncos LB Von Miller: Parker started over Alex Leatherwood in Week 5 and struggled against Khalil Mack. Up next, future Hall of Famer Von Miller.

Broncos WR Courtland Sutton vs. Raiders CB Casey Hayward Jr.: Sutton was fantastic in Week 5 and will have a big size advantage over Hayward. But Hayward has been fantastic this season against bigger receivers.

Raiders TE Darren Waller vs. Broncos FS Justin Simmons: Waller has been held in check over the last few weeks, but can he explode against one of the best secondaries in the NFL?

Raiders vs. Broncos Player Props

Broncos QB Teddy Bridgewater, Under 248.5 Passing Yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

Bridgewater threw for 288 yards against the Steelers, but nearly all of those yards came in the fourth quarter. Denver should be able to run the ball with more success in this game, which could limit the number of passing attempts for Bridgewater.

Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III, Over 45.5 Receiving Yards

Odds: -115 at DraftKings

Denver has a good secondary, but they have been beaten quite a bit over the last two weeks. Look for Ruggs to make at least one big play down the field and easily go over this yardage total. He is becoming more involved in the offense every week.

Raiders WR Henry Ruggs III, Over 2.5 Receptions

Odds: -135 at DraftKings

Ruggs has caught at least three passes in four straight games and is averaging close to six targets per game. With the running game struggling, look for the Raiders to throw the ball close to 40 times in this game and for Ruggs to catch four or five passes.

Raiders vs. Broncos Moneyline

The Broncos are at home in this game, so it makes sense that they would be the moneyline favorite at Colorado sports betting sites and elsewhere. But is there enough value here to take Denver? It is worth noting that the Raiders have won four of their previous five matchups, but that was with Jon Gruden on the sideline. It feels likely that the Raiders will come out a bit flat in this game considering all of the drama that has happened over the past few days.

Plus, the Broncos should be able to create a ton of pressure on Derek Carr and the rest of the offense. Despite not a lot of value, take the Broncos (-180) on DraftKings to win this game outright.

Raiders vs. Broncos Point Spread

The Raiders have been awful against the spread as of late, going just 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games. Outside of their upset wins in Week 1 and Week 2, this is a team that hasn’t been able to compete with most teams. However, they have done a good job of hanging with divisional opponents over the last few years.

Considering how much Denver has struggled on offense over the last few weeks, it wouldn’t be a total shock if this was a field goal game. For that reason, taking the Raiders +3.5 at FanDuel feels like the right bet.

However, be sure to shop around on your favorite betting apps and sportsbooks for the best line as it could move to Raiders +4 by the end of the week.

Raiders vs. Broncos Totals

Denver’s offense has really struggled over the last few weeks as the injuries to Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler have caught up to them. Plus, the running game has struggled in a big way. But the Raiders haven’t been much better, scoring a combined 23 points in the last two weeks.

Without Gruden calling plays, they could struggle even more. Take the Under 44.5 (-110) on BetMGM and expect a 20-17 type of game as both teams lean on their defenses.
