The Baltimore Ravens (14-2) and San Francisco 49ers (13-3) earned the No. 1 seeds and homefield advantage until the Super Bowl. The Ravens are the favorite to win it all at +225 at William Hill, while the Niners are second in line at +350.

But you could have had the favorites at big underdog odds in Super Bowl betting.

Bettors that saw this coming could be sitting on much bigger tickets. Before the preseason began, Baltimore was available at +5000 at William Hill. Going into Week 1, San Francisco could be had at +3000.

A few more nuggets about Super Bowl odds with the NFL Playoffs set to begin Saturday:

No Respect for the Pack

Vegas doesn’t have much faith in the Green Bay Packers, who finished 13-3, earned the No. 2 seed in the NFC and a first-round bye. They’re at +1000 to win the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints, who also went 13-3 but finished as the No. 3 seed and host the Minnesota Vikings in Round 1 — then would have to travel to Lambeau Field with a second-round matchup with the Pack — are +400 at William Hill.

Patriots Era About to End?

Patriots running back James White has 72 catches, second-highest in his career, but the offense underperformed much of the season.

The Patriots are the defending Super Bowl champions, have won two of the last three and been the AFC’s representative in the big game for four of the last five years. They finished a solid 12-4 but dropped a head-scratching 27-24 loss to the Dolphins in Week 17, costing them a first-round bye.

New England went just 4-4 after an 8-0 start to the season, losing games to the Ravens, Texans and Chiefs in that span — three of the other five AFC playoff teams.

The Patriots opened at +800, a line that dropped all the way to +350 during the season. But as the playoffs begin, New England is up to +1200 at 888sport — the highest odds it’s seen all year.

Titans Were 300/1 in October

Since taking over in Week 6, Titans quarterback Ryan Tannehill has thrown 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions.

The Tennessee Titans got into the playoffs as the No. 6 seed with an impressive 35-14 win over the Houston Texans in Week 17. The Titans are a long shot to win the Super Bowl at +5500, but they could have been had for +30000 on Oct. 18.

That was two days before Ryan Tannehill relieved Marcus Mariota at QB. Since then, the Titans have gone 7-3.

AFC, Offense rule

Maybe it’s the dominance of the Ravens, maybe it’s the history over the Patriots, maybe it’s the dynamic play of the Chiefs. Or maybe it’s all of them put together. Right now, the AFC champion is favored by three points over its NFC counterpart.

The O/U for the Super Bowl is 50 points. The average amount of points per game this season is 45.6.
