The Baltimore Ravens' visit to Pittsburgh to face the Steelers was supposed to be the showcase game on Thanksgiving night. But then COVID-19 intervened, with positive tests hitting both teams. The game was shifted to Sunday, and after more positive tests, shifted again to Tuesday night and then again to Wednesday.

The NFL had canceled the Ravens' practice scheduled for Monday morning as Baltimore battles one of the biggest coronavirus outbreaks in all of professional sports with eight straight days of at least one positive test. Eighteen players are on the reserve/COVID-19 list as of Monday.

The Ravens will be without a significant portion of their roster, including Pro Bowlers Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews and Calais Campbell. The Steelers will be without running back James Conner, but their roster is far healthier and more well-rested entering this matchup. It won’t be the game many expected, and that includes when it comes to NFL betting.

We liked the Ravens a week ago to cover when the line was 4.5 points. The line has more than doubled, and our feelings on the game have changed as well.

Pittsburgh is 10-0, and with a win against the Ravens, a perfect 16-0 regular season starts to become a real possibility. The Steelers offense is clicking and the defense continues to find a way to get turnovers at an astounding rate. Meanwhile, the Ravens need a win to stay in the AFC wild-card race that is heating up.

The Steelers are now 10-point favorites, and it's a surprise they aren't favored by more. With the Ravens starting nearly a whole new offense without any practice time, Pittsburgh should have no problem keeping them under 17 points. The Steelers might just be the best team in the NFL and should blow out this version of the Ravens in primetime. Take Pittsburgh to cover with ease in Week 12.

Pittsburgh has not covered the spread in six straight games against the Ravens at Heinz Field. That ends Tuesday night.

As for the total, snow is expected on Tuesday night and that could bring the overall scoring down. At 41, Pittsburgh is going to have to do a lot of the heavy lifting in this one. But given how well its offense has played this season, don't expect that to be an issue. Don't be surprised if the Steelers score 30 or more points themselves, allowing the over to hit in Pittsburgh.
