Travis Kelce absorbed much of the NFL spotlight this season thanks to his relationship with Taylor Swift, his role on the then-two-time defending NFL champions, and a blitz of commercial endorsements.

None of that hype manifested itself on the field. Kelce, who turned 35 in October, struggled as a pass catcher and blocking tight end. His 823 yards receiving were the lowest total in his 11 seasons, as was his 8.5 yards per catch.

And even though “Travis Kelce Anytime TD” was the most-bet market of any NFL player prop this past season; he only found the end zone 3 times.

Will either the Chiefs or Kelce this offseason say: “We Are Never Getting Back Together”?

The Chiefs will most likely cut Kelce before March 15 when his $12.5 million roster bonus is due, unless he gives them a firm “yes” or “no” about retirement. His cap hit in 2025 is $19.8 million, via Over The Cap.

Bookies.com veteran oddsmaker Adam Thompson has put together NFL betting odds on where Travis Kelce will take his first snap in 2025.

Where Will Travis Kelce Play In 2025 Odds?

Perhaps Swift and Kelce might be singing “Welcome to New York” this upcoming season?

Or maybe Kelce becomes the newest “Anti-Hero” in Los Angeles.

Let’s take a look.

🏈  (+350) Kansas City

Kelce rebounded during the playoffs during Kansas City’s Park Avenue-aided Divisional Round win over Houston. In that game, he had 7 catches for 117 yards and a TD.

Kelce swiftly faded back into offensive obscurity in the AFC Championship Game (2 catches, 19 yards). And he was a no-show in the Super Bowl. Not only did he turn into a revolving door whenever the Eagles rushed QB Patrick Mahomes, he caught just 4 passes for 39 yards and, again, failed to score.

It’s going to be a challenge for the Chiefs and Kelce to simply shake it off.

The Chiefs were demolished by Philly’s offensive and defensive lines in Super Bowl 59, a game in which they trailed by 34 points on 2 different occasions.

And all that talk of a Three-Peat © became just another lyric for members of the “Tortured Poets Society.”

🏈 (+450) Los Angeles Chargers

Travis and Taylor would fit in perfectly in LaLa Land. They could still share the NFL spotlight while blending in with the rest of the A-Listers. The Chargers held off on their annual collapse this season until their first playoff game. Jim Harbaugh needs a few more pieces to get a playoff win. No matter where Kelce plays next season, it’s clear he can no longer be the primary target in any scheme. The Chargers have a 31-year-old tight end in Hayden Hurst. And have depth at WR and running back. How much would LA want to pay Kelce to play a secondary role? At least on the field? Denying Mahomes his binky would be a boost for an AFC West rival.

🏈 (+500) Cincinnati Bengals

The Bengals used Mike Gesicki primarily at tight end this past season. The 29-year-old Gesicki had 65 catches for 665 yards (10.2 YPC) on 83 targets. But he’s an unrestricted free agent and will be looking at a massive pay raise from the $2.5 million he made this past season. The Bengals are also looking at the likely exit of Tee Higgins. Kelce would be a stable target for Joe Burrow, if Kelce is able to stay healthy and find some space.

🏈 (+650) Denver Broncos

Like the Chargers, Kelce would be making the move to a long-time AFC foe. That would at least give him once chance to return to Kansas City for what would be a very emotional reunion. Sean Payton guided the Broncos to the playoffs using a ferocious defense and rookie QB Bo Nix. The Broncos and Nix would benefit from Kelce’s presence as a championship-winning veteran. And they lacked production at the tight end position last season.

🏈 (+750) Los Angeles Rams

The Rams offer the same off-the-field benefits as the Chargers. But the NFC West champs are bit further along in terms of talent and playoff progression. LA lost to the eventual Super Bowl champion Eagles 28-22 in the Divisional Round amid a snowstorm and a snowplow named Saquon Barkley. Kelce, even at less than his former self, would be a boost given the lack of production the Rams got from the tight end spot last season.

🏈 (+1400) Indianapolis Colts

Swift sold out Lucas Oil Stadium for 3 nights in November. So, there is that.

🏈 (+1200) The Field

If Travis and Taylor opt to take a bite out of the Big Apple, they’ll be on the front and back page daily without him ever taking a snap. Or how about the couple deciding to heat South Beach?

🏈 (+400) Retire/No Team

Kelce has said he is still considering his future. Given the shock and awe of Kansas City’s Super Bowl loss, that’s understandable. But remember, the NFL passed on Bill Belichick last season. Kelce may find his market value outside Kansas City – even with Tay Tay as a draw – might be lower than he anticipated.
