2026 Milan Olympics Team USA Hockey Roster Odds

Bookies.com has developed odds projecting which athletes will represent the United States of America in hockey during the 2026 Olympics in Milan. In June, the first six (out of 25 total) players were named. The final roster is expected to be announced by early January 2026. US sports betting sites will have a wide variety of wagers available for the Games in Italy (most Olympic venues are in Milan or Contina d’Ampezzo).
Here are our USA hockey roster odds for February’s Olympics:

| Vincent Trocheck | +150 | 40.0% |
| J.T. Miller | +250 | 28.6% |
| The Field | +750 | 11.8% |
These names will be familiar to NHL betting enthusiasts and anyone who follows the league. The six players named to the preliminary USA Olympic Hockey roster included four forwards: Auston Matthews of the Maple Leafs, Jack Eichel of the Golden Knights, and the Tkachuk brothers, Ottawa’s Brady and Florida’s Matthew.
Of all the players on our board, Eichel and Dallas Stars veteran Jason Robertson have the most points, with 40 as of Dec. 12.
Robertson is on pace for 103 points, which would be his second-best output behind his 109-point season in 2022-23.
But other forwards (besides the four who seem to have spots clinched) are ahead of him on our odds board. These odds were developed by, and are exclusive to, Bookies.com, where you can find top sportsbook promo codes.
Robertson has not represented Team USA in a major competition since his appearance at the World Junior U-20 Championships in 2019.
Minnesota Wild left wing Matt Boldy (-3200 odds) is riding high on our list with a 97% chance to be in Italy in February. Boldy, 24, played in the 4 Nations Faceoff last year and has 17 goals and 18 assists in 31 games this season.
Team USA Hockey Roster Defensemen Odds
| Name | Odds | Percent Chance |
| Charlie McAvoy | -100000 | 99.9% |
| Quinn Hughes | -3200 | 97.0% |
| Jaccob Slavin | -2400 | 96.0% |
| Jake Sanderson | -1500 | 93.8% |
| Zach Werenski | -900 | 90.0% |
| Lane Hutson | -600 | 85.7% |
| Seth Jones | -350 | 77.8% |
| Adam Fox | -200 | 66.7% |
| Brock Faber | +150 | 40.0% |
| Brett Pesce | +250 | 28.6% |
| Jackson LaCombe | +450 | 18.2% |
| The Field | +1500 | 6.3% |
Aside from McAvoy and Hughes, the most likely blueliners on our board are Jaccob Slavin of the Carolina Hurricanes, Jake Sanderson from the Ottawa Senators and Columbus Blue Jackets standout Zach Werenski.
We give Slavin a 96% chance to make the Team USA Olympic hockey roster, which would translate to -2400 odds if this were offered as a prop at top sportsbook apps. Sanderson and Werenski are also both at 90% or better.
Werenski has 32 points (nine goals, 23 assists) in 31 games for Columbus this season, the most among defensemen on our list.
Team USA Hockey Roster Goaltender Odds
| Name | Odds | Percent Chance |
| Connor Hellebuyck | -1550 | 94.0% |
| Jake Oettinger | -900 | 90.0% |
| Jeremy Swayman | -800 | 88.9% |
| Joey Daccord | +1000 | 9.1% |
| Thatcher Demko | +1050 | 8.7% |
| Spencer Knight | +1650 | 5.7% |
| The Field | +2700 | 3.6% |
The best goaltender in the world right now has to be Michigan native Connor Hellebuyck of the Winnipeg Jets. The three-time Vezina Trophy winner and reigning Hart Trophy recipient as NHL Most Valuable Player is the active leader in career save percentage at .918 and his 47 wins last season set a career high. But Hellebuyck had knee surgery in November and his status for the Olympics is uncertain.
If Hellebuyck can’t go in the Olympics, American head coach Mike Sullivan has a fine Plan B with Stars netminder Jake Oettinger. He entered Friday as the league leader in wins (14) and played for Team USA in the 2024 Four Nations tourney.
Another possibility is Jeremy Swayman of the Boston Bruins. At DraftKings Sportsbook, he has +1200 odds to win the Vezina in the 2025-26 season, tied for fifth on the operator’s board.
What’s The Status of The Olympic Arena?
One cloud hanging over the Olympics is that the arena in Milan, site of the hockey tournament, is not completed. Some observers, including those in the NHL, have raised questions about whether the NHL will or should even send its players to the Games. See our story about Milan 2026 Olympics: NHL Participation and Arena Completion Odds for details.
Long story short, literally, the ice surface is not as long as NHL standards – but worse yet, time is running short for the arena’s construction to get finished.
NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said recently that he was “disappointed” that the Italians are cutting it so close to finish the arena. They still need to test the ice surface at Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arens in game conditions and with fans attending; that is slated to happen in January.
“In all of the prior Olympics, whether they built permanent or temporary facilities, it’s never been this late for completion and the building of ice,” Bettman said, according to a report on CBC’s website. “That’s why we are cautious.”
The International Ice Hockey Federation issued a statement that the Olympic rink would be about 197 feet long, 3 feet shorter than the NHL standard, but that it would be slightly wider (a few inches more than the 85-foot norm).
Sports betting sites list Canada as the favorite to win the Olympic gold medal, with odds ranging from +135 to +150, followed by the United States (+175 to +200 odds, depending on the operator).
