The SEC is completely up for grabs. No. 2 Georgia plays host to No. 7 Tennessee on Saturday night. The Dawgs' loss to Ole Miss ended their hopes for a spot in the SEC title game. The loser here will likely find themselves out of the picture for the postseason, The winner will control their own destiny.

Pitt and Clemson comprise the other AP Top 25 matchup this week. The Tigers have 2 losses and can’t afford another, no matter the “quality” of a loss to Pitt.

This week’s college football betting schedule includes games on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights.

Opportunities abound all week and weekend on sports betting apps. For instance, BetMGM, FanDuel and ESPN BET have posted a healthy slate of futures concerning the college football playoff and season awards.

Take a look at our favorite college football picks for Week 12 of the 2024 season. Any team rankings are from the latest AP Top 25 Poll.

College Football Week 12 Best Bets To Back Today

College Football 2024 Week 12 Odds, Predictions, Other Bets To Make Today 1

Friday, November 15
UCLA at Washington, 9 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Washington (5-5) comes home after absorbing a beatdown in Happy Valley against Penn State. And UCLA (5-5) heads to Husky Stadium after an impressive 20-17 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Their defense should keep this one within a touchdown. Even in Seattle. We were locked in UCLA at +8 last week. The number tumbled to 3.5 Sunday. We'd middle this play given the line movement. But here, take Dubs & Company at home and give the points. ESPN Analytics gives Washington a 64.5% chance to win.

Best Bet: Washington -3.5 (-110)  at DraftKings

Friday, November 15
Houston at Arizona, 10:15 p.m. (FS1)

Buzz: The Wildcats (3-6) need the bye week to recover from the 56-12 beating they received at UCF. Arizona’s defense was destroyed. Arizona has lost 5 straight and has been outscored 190-86 during that span. Arizona is last among all FBS teams at 1-8 against the spread. But they'll get their 2nd cover of the season this week. Last. Houston (4-5) topped then-No. 17 Kansas State 24-19 with a pair of TDs in the fourth quarter. They are 5-4 on the line this season. Lean into the over at 43.5 points, as well. ESPN Analytics gives Arizona a 58.5% chance to win.

Best Bet: Arizona -2 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Texas at Arkansas, 12 p.m. (ABC)

Buzz: Texas needs to win out and do it in style if it wants to play in the SEC title game. The Horns demolished Florida 49-17 in Week 11. Texas will be the No. 1 SEC team in this week's College Football Playoff Rankings. The Razorbacks, meanwhile, had covered in their first 4 games as underdogs before being trucked 61-31 by Ole Miss. They upset Tennessee, winning outright as 14-point underdogs. Hard to say which version of the Razorbacks will show up this week. Style points matter these days, especially in the CFB Rankings. Texas showed this week it won't hold back if given the chance. But the Razorbacks are on the verge of a bowl berth. And they're a tough out at home, especially when getting 3 scores. This number edged up 2.5 points Sunday. ESPN Analytics gives Texas an 85.9% chance to win.

Best Bet: Arkansas +16.5 (-110)  at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Utah at Colorado, 12 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Buffs’ only shot at the College Football Playoff is to win out. Colorado has covered seven straight, as both favorites and underdogs. Colorado tied for No. 4 among all FBS schools against the spread at 7-2. They passed a major test at Texas Tech in Week 11 with a convincing 41-27 win at Lubbock. Having the Utes at home will help. Utah left it all on the field in a 1-point "Holy War" loss to BYU Saturday night. We got Colorado last week at -9.5. Coach Prime and the Buffs will run it up to rock the crowd in Boulder. ESPN Analytics gives Colorado a 75% chance to win.

Best Bet: Colorado -10 (-110)  at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Ohio State at Northwestern, 12 p.m. (Big 10 Network)

Buzz: The 8-1 Bucks opened at No. 2 in the College Football Playoff Rankings this week. But they remain on the outside looking in at the Big 10 title game at 5-1 in conference. Indiana (10-0/7-0) is No. 1 in the B1G. The Hoosiers visit Columbus next week. And Oregon is 2nd. Oregon beat Ohio State 32-31. Ohio State may be just 2 points away from being the No. 1 school in the nation, the Bucks are 5-4 against the spread, averaging +1.8 points on the line. Still. they covered a monster number of 38.5 points against Purdue Saturday, pitching a 38-0 shutout. And they'll stack up the points this week, as well. ESPN Analytics gives Ohio State a 95.4% chance to win.

Best Bet: Ohio State -30.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Clemson at Pittsburgh, 12 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: The Tigers saw their hopes for an ACC title fall flat at home at Louisville. They held off the Hokies in Blacksburg on Saturday, covering a 6.5-point number. Still, Clemson (7-2 SU + ATS) has softened when pushed hard this season. The Tigers are just 4-3 as double-digit favorites and 1-1 on the road. Pitt raced out to a 7-0 start in large part due to a soft schedule. The Panthers got whacked at SMU in Week 11 in their first reality check. Pitt (6-3 ATS) covered in its first 5 games before missing the line in 2 of 3 before facing Virginia. Take the points here. The line expanded from 9 to 12 on Sunday. ESPN Analytics gives Clemson a 69.2% chance to win.

Best Bet: Pittsburgh +12 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Tennessee at Georgia, 7:30 p.m. (ABC)

Buzz: Georgia (7-2) fell apart in the rain at Ole Miss Saturday in a 28-10 loss. The Lane Train derailed Carson Beck and the Georgia offense. The Dawgs will be on the outside looking in on the college football playoffs if they lose here. Tennessee (7-1) is 7th. Tennessee rolled past Mississippi State 33-14 Saturday. Dylan Sampson carried the ball 30 times for 149 yards (5.0 yards per attempt) with 1 TD. Look for more of the same this week. Georgia has only covered in 1 of 8 previous games. This number is a bit too wide right now. Take the points and the Vols. ESPN Analytics gives Georgia a 61.8% chance to win.

Best Bet: Tennessee +8.5 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Arizona State at Kansas State, 7 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: Both teams are bowl-eligible but won’t be in the College Football Playoff. The 7-2 SU and ATS Sun Devils are 3rd in the Big 12 this season at 4-2 and remain very much in the chase for a spot in the conference title game. Sam Leavitt threw 3 TD passes as the Sun Devils held off UCF 35-31 Saturday in a game that featured 5 lead changes. Kansas State (7-2) comes off the bye and a 24-19 upset loss at Houston in which they were outscored 14-0 in the fourth quarter. The ‘Cats are kittens on the line, going 3-6 ATS in their first 9 games. And have only covered once getting 7 or more points in 5 tries. Kansas State will need to run the ball here if it wants to have enough distance to hold for this cover. ESPN Analytics gives Kansas State a 74.5% chance to win.

Best Bet: Arizona State +7 (-110) at DraftKings

Saturday, November 16
Oregon at Wisconsin, 7:30 p.m.

Buzz: The Ducks have earned top billing in the AP Top 25 Poll, ESPN Coaches Poll, and the College Football Playoff Rankings. But the 10-0 Ducks are just 5-5 on the line. They had covered in 4 straight ahead missing on a 24-point line in their 39-18 at home against Maryland. This number is much more manageable - as long as it stays at 14 or less. The Ducks are on a rampage heading to the Big Ten title game. The Badgers have failed to cover in their 2 games when getting 14 or more points this season. And Camp Randall isn’t what it used to be in terms of a graveyard for top-tier opponents. ESPN Analytics gives Oregon a 75.6% chance to win.

Best Bet: Oregon -14 (-110) at DraftKings
