Week 10 of the NFL betting brings the continued saga of the Dallas Cowboys back to the national spotlight on Sunday afternoon.

The Dallas Cowboys play host to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys once boasted the "Doomsday Defense." Now, it’s the Doomsday Clock that continues its steady march toward midnight for coach Mike McCarthy

The National Game of The Week on CBS kicks off at 4:25 p.m.

The week begins with what was supposed to be an AFC North showdown between the Bengals and Ravens. No worries for the Amazon Prime servers there. The Sunday night game offers a potential Super Bowl 60 matchup between the Lions and Texans. The Dolphins swim out to SoFi on Monday night to face the Rams.

Four teams are on the bye: Cleveland, Green Bay, Las Vegas, and Seattle

2024 NFL Week 10 Best Bets

NFL Week 10 Picks, Betting Predictions & Best Bets To Back: Doomsday in Big D? 2

Thursday, November 7
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens, 8:15 p.m. (Amazon Prime)

Buzz: The schedule-makers thought they had a “winner takes the AFC North” showdown when this game was scheduled in May. Instead, the Ravens will need a win to keep pace with Pittsburgh for a shot at winning the division. And Cincinnati on to 2025. These teams were a combined 12-4 on the over before Week 9, hence the 50-point total. Hard to see that number on a Thursday night. Even with the Ravens worst-in-the-NFL secondary. Lamar Jackson will have had a full game and full week of practice to work with Dionate Johnson. He has too many tools for Cincy’s defense and Joe Burrow & Company won’t be able to keep the pace.

Best Bet: Baltimore -5.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (Munich), 9:30 a.m. (NFL Network)

Buzz: The NFL returns to Germany with a game that could set back football 100 years overseas. Two terrible teams meet on neutral turf. The natural inclination is to lean into the under here. As long as the total sits at or above 40.5 points, convert your dollars into Euros and make that play.

Best Bet: Under 41 Points  (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: We may get a showdown between the No. 1 and No. 3 QBs taken in the 2024 NFL Draft, depending on Drake Maye’s post-concussion status. Caleb Williams continues to sling it for Chicago. The Patriots are pretty much terrible no matter who is playing QB. If the Bears have not recovered from their “Fail Mary” debacle by kickoff, they should find themselves steady by the end of this game. The Patriots defense can keep it close. So it’s not unreasonable to take the points here. This number could swing if the Patriots unload before the trade deadline.

Best Bet: Patriots +6.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Bills are stampeding to an AFC East title. They’ve progressed in the right direction this season. The Colts, in a surprise to many, had the best record in the NFL against the spread at 7-1 heading into Week 9. Combined, they were 12-4 ATS. The Colts have beaten Buffalo 4 straight times at Lucas Oil Stadium and they win 75% of their home games. The Colts QB situation remains uncertain. But Joe Flacco has proven to be the best QB in the NFL this season who is 39-years-old or above.

Best Bet: Colts +4 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Chiefs play host to the Broncos, who are on the back-end of a murderous pair of road games in Baltimore and Kansas City. The Chiefs are coming off a Monday night affair in Tampa Bay. We’ll all find out just how good Denver’s defense is soon enough. The last time the Chiefs covered a spread of 9 points or greater was on October 12, 2023 – at home against the Broncos. That number was 10.5 points. While the Chiefs have remained consistent over the past calendar year (they haven’t lost since Christmas), the Broncos are significantly improved. Taylor Swift has the weekend off. So expect an appearance of Her Majesty at Arrowhead.

Best Bet: Broncos +9.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Saints are swirling down the drain. They could start one of 1 QBs this weekend. It won’t matter. The Falcons have unlocked their offense and may – finally – win the NFC South. They swept the Bucs this season already. A win here would give them a sweep over the Saints and at least a 5-1 record in the division, plus any and all potential tie-breakers. Kirk Cousins could flirt with 400 yards passing here.

Best Bet: Falcons ML (-112) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10

Sunday, November 10
Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: It would be hard to find a match-up of 2 teams who have done more to disappoint their fans in recent years. The Vikings rolled to a 5-0 start before dropping back-to-back games. The Jaguars continue to underwhelm against quality opponents. Whether the Vikings fit that billing on the road in the late Florida warmth and humidity is the big question of the week. The Vikings running game has stalled of late and Jacksonville's defense should force the Vikings to rely a bit too much on Sam Darnold. The Vikings have won 5 straight over Jacksonville. We're looking a low-scoring, close game here.

Best Bet: Jaguars +4 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The schedule gods showed the Bucs no mercy this week. They go from a Monday night game at home against the Super Bowl 59 champion Kansas City Chiefs, to an early Sunday afternoon affair against the Super Bowl 59 losers. Meanwhile, the 49ers had their bye in Week 9. The 49ers have failed to cover following a win in 7 straight games, and have 4 outright losses after a win. But this break gives them time to heal. Tampa Bay’s defense has begun to fray. And it will have a short week to recover after dealing with Patrick Mahomes. These teams were a combined 11-5 on the over heading into Week 9. We see plenty of points here, as well. Even as Nick Bosa terrorizes Baker Mayfield all afternoon.

Best Bet: Over 48 Points (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: You can be certain Mike Tomlin’s defense won’t allow any 65-yard, “Hail Mary” TD passes with 1 second to play here. The Steelers kept themselves in contention to win the AFC North early this season thank to their defense. Now, Russ had begun to cook at QB. Pittsburgh comes off the bye and a convincing win over the Giants in Week 8. The Steelers are playing their best ball of the season. The Commanders face the Giants in Week 9, which is pretty much the same as having the bye. The matchup here is Tomlin and his defense against a rookie QB in Jayden Daniels. Back Tomlin in that situation until further notice.

Best Bet: Steelers ML (+102) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The Titans wrecked Will Levis. Mason Rudolph is simply the latest warm body available to take snaps. Normally, we’d be leery of the Chargers being a touchdown favorite. But the Titans may not reach the end zone. The total is 38, which might be worth another look after Week 9. But for now, take the Bolts and give the points. This is the sort of get-right opportunity that could see Justin Herbert put up 3 or 4 TD passes.

Best Bet: Chargers -7 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Jim Nantz and Tony Romo keep the death watch on Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy this week. The Cowboys once boasted a “Doomsday Defense.” These days, the Doomsday Clock continues to edge closer to midnight for the 2024 version. The Cowboys face an 0-4 record at Jerry World this season with a loss. The Eagles, meanwhile, are battling claws-out for the NFC East title with . . . the Commanders. They will need this intraconference game to keep pace both in the standings and on the tie-breaker front. The juice here is high on 2.5 points, and this number could well move to 3 or beyond after Week 9.

Best Bet: Eagles -2.5 (-120) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Gang Green enjoys the mini-bye after a Thursday night game over Houston on Halloween. The Cardinals are home after back-to-back games at Miami (win) and Chicago. Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. have their groove on. James Conner continues to pound away on the ground. The Jets were horrible in a Week 8 loss to New England. They’ll be on the road in a dome here and won’t be able to keep up with the track-meet Cardinals offense.

Best Bet: Cardinals -1 (-105) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Detroit Lions at Houston Texans, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

Buzz: Here’s a possible Super Bowl 60 preview – yep, you read that one correctly. The Texans are a year away from a deep playoff run (i.e. getting past Kansas City). The Lions may well make it to the Super Bowl this season, in addition to next. Detroit was 43-18 ATS in its previous 61 games before Week 9. The Texans have won 4 straight against the Lions. But they are under .500 against the line. The Lions are the play here, especially given the below-3-point total.

Best Bet: Lions -2.5 (-120) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: A rare home game for the Rams in which the crowd will be primarily Rams fans. The Dolphins have won 5 straight over the Rams. But this will be their second tough road game in 2 weeks, after facing Buffalo in Orchard Park in Week 9. The Rams have the gang back together – meaning Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and running back Kyren Williams. The Dolphins’ lackluster defense was pushed around by the Cardinals in Week 8. Matt Stafford should be able to avoid too many mistakes here in piling up points.

Best Bet: Rams -2.5 (-118) DraftKings
