Week 10 of the NFL betting brings the continued saga of the Dallas Cowboys back to the national spotlight on Sunday afternoon.

The Dallas Cowboys play host to the Philadelphia Eagles. The Cowboys once boasted the "Doomsday Defense." Now, it’s the Doomsday Clock that continues its steady march toward midnight for coach Mike McCarthy

The National Game of The Week on CBS kicks off at 4:25 p.m.

The week begins with what was supposed to be an AFC North showdown between the Bengals and Ravens. No worries for the Amazon Prime servers there. The Sunday night game offers a potential Super Bowl 60 matchup between the Lions and Texans. The Dolphins swim out to SoFi on Monday night to face the Rams.

2024 NFL Week 10 Best Bets

NFL Week 10 Picks, Betting Predictions & Best Bets To Back: Doomsday in Big D? 2

Thursday, November 7
Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens, 8:15 p.m. (Amazon Prime)

Buzz: The schedule-makers thought they had a “winner takes the AFC North” showdown when this game was scheduled in May. Instead, the Ravens (6-3) need a win to keep pace with Pittsburgh for a shot at winning the division. Cincinnati "has a path" the playoffs at 4-5, but that path ends Thursday. These teams are a combined 14-4 on the over, hence the 50-point total swelling to 52.5. Hard to see that number on a Thursday night. Even with the Ravens worst-in-the-NFL secondary. Lamar Jackson had the Ravens smokin' against what was the top defense in the NFL in Denver on Sunday. He has too many tools for Cincy’s defense. Joe Burrow & Company won’t be able to keep the pace.

Best Bet: Under 52.5 Points (-108) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New York Giants vs. Carolina Panthers (Munich), 9:30 a.m. (NFL Network)

Buzz: The NFL returns to Germany with a game that could trigger an international incident. Two terrible (combined 4-14) teams meet on neutral turf. The natural inclination is to lean into the under here. But anything is possible with these two teams. The Panthers got their required win this season Sunday at home against New Orleans. The Giants showed glimpses of offense agains the Commanders. Convert your dollars into Euros and lay the points on Big Blue.

Best Bet: Giants -5  (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New England Patriots at Chicago Bears, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: A showdown between the No. 1 and No. 3 QBs taken in the 2024 NFL Draft. Drake Maye led a thrilling game-tying drive in Sunday's OT loss to Tennessee. The rest of the Patriots' offense is terrible no matter who is playing QB. The Bears have not recovered from their “Fail Mary” debacle at Washington and mailed it in during their Week 9 loss at Arizona. QB Caleb Williams has appeared to plateau. Matt Eberflus' job hangs in the balance here. The Patriots defense can keep it close. So it’s not unreasonable to take the points here. This number could swing if the Patriots unload before the trade deadline.

Best Bet: Patriots +7 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Buffalo Bills at Indianapolis Colts, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The 7-2 Bills are stampeding to an AFC East title and squished the Fish (yes, we know Dolphins are aquatic mammals) in OT Sunday. They’ve progressed in the right direction this season. The 4-5 Colts, in a surprise to many, are 7-2 ATS after falling flat Sunday night. Combined, these teams are 12-6 ATS. The Colts have beaten Buffalo 4 straight times at Lucas Oil Stadium, they win 75% of their home games and have covered 6 straight times against the AFC. But Joe Flacco won't be able to keep pace with Buffalo's offense or evade the Bills defense. And Anthony Richardson is a mess. Lay the points.

Best Bet: Bills -4.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Denver is on the back-end of a murderous pair of road games in Baltimore (41-10 loss) and Kansas City. The Chiefs come off a Monday nighter in Tampa Bay. The last time the Chiefs covered a spread of 9 points or greater was on October 12, 2023 – at home against the Broncos (10.5 points). This number has floated between 8.5 and 9.5. The 7-0 Chiefs haven’t lost since Christmas 2023. The 5-4 Broncos were badly exposed by the Ravens on both sides of the ball Sunday. A steep learning curve for Bo Nix continues here. Denver has lost 8 straight at KC. The Chiefs defense could deep Denver in single digits. Also, Patrick Mahomes is still playing QB for Kansas City. Speaking of royalty, Taylor Swift has the weekend off. So expect an appearance of Her Majesty at Arrowhead.

Best Bet: Chiefs -9.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The 2-7 Saints are swirling down the drain and fired coach Dennis Allen on Monday. They've lost 7 straight. Sunday's collapse at Carolina was an all-timer. New Orleans could start 1 QBs this weekend. It won’t matter. The 6-3 Falcons have unlocked their offense and may – finally – win the NFC South. They swept the Bucs this season. A win gives them a sweep over the Saints and at least a 5-1 record in the division, plus any and all potential tie-breakers. Kirk Cousins could flirt with 400 yards passing. We grabbed the Falcons at -112 on the early money line. Lay the 3.5 points.

Best Bet: Falcons -3.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Minnesota Vikings at Jacksonville Jaguars, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: It would be hard to find a match-up of 2 teams who have done more to disappoint their fans in recent years. The Vikings rolled to a 5-0 start before dropping back-to-back games. Minnesota rebounded against the Colts Sunday. The 2-7 Jaguars snagged a backdoor cover against Philly in Week 9. Only Carolina has allowed more points than Jacksonville this season. Sam Darnold should pick apart Jacksonville's defense, and allow Minnesota to run the ball late and salt away the game and cover. The Vikings have won 5 straight over Jacksonville.

Best Bet: Minnesota -5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
San Francisco 49ers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 1 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: The schedule gods showed the Bucs no mercy this week. They go from a Monday night game at home against the Super Bowl 59 champion Kansas City Chiefs, to an early Sunday afternoon affair against the Super Bowl 59 losers. Meanwhile, the 49ers had their bye in Week 9. The 49ers have failed to cover following a win in 7 straight games, and have 4 outright losses after a win. But this break gives them time to heal. Tampa Bay’s defense has begun to fray. And it will have a short week to recover after dealing with Patrick Mahomes. These teams were a combined 11-5 on the over heading into Week 9. We see plenty of points here, as well. Even as Nick Bosa terrorizes Baker Mayfield all afternoon.

Best Bet: Over 48 Points (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Pittsburgh Steelers at Washington Commanders, 1 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: The Should-Be National Game Of The Week. You can be certain Mike Tomlin’s defense won’t allow any 65-yard, “Hail Mary” TD passes with 1 second to play here. The Steelers kept themselves in contention to win the AFC North early this season thanks to their defense. Now, Russ had begun to cook at QB. Pittsburgh comes off the bye and a convincing win over the Giants in Week 8. The Steelers are playing their best ball of the season. The Commanders handled the Giants in Week 9. The matchup here is Tomlin and his defense against a rookie QB in Jayden Daniels. Back Tomlin in that situation until further notice.

Best Bet: Steelers ML (+110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Tennessee Titans at Los Angeles Chargers, 4:05 p.m. (FOX)

Buzz: Backing the 5-3 Chargers as a TD+ favorite is a tough ask. But the 2-7 Titans may not reach the end zone. They struggled to hit 20 points in overtime against the Patriots. This is the lowest total of the season thus far at 37.5 points. And for good reason. This is the sort of get-right opportunity that could see Justin Herbert put up 3 or 4 TD passes. But Tennessee will struggle to hit double-digits. These teams are a combined 10-4-1 on the under.

Best Bet: Under 37.5 Points (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Philadelphia Eagles at Dallas Cowboys, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Jim Nantz and Tony Romo keep the death watch on Cowboys coach Mike McCarthy this week. The Cowboys once boasted a “Doomsday Defense.” These days, the Doomsday Clock continues to edge closer to midnight for the 2024 version. The Cowboys are winless at Jerry World this season. The Eagles, meanwhile, are battling claws-out for the NFC East title with . . . the Commanders. They will need this intra-divisional win to keep pace both in the standings and on the tie-breaker front. The matchup to watch is the Eagles' second-best in the NFL running game (174.8 YPG) up against Dallas' second-worst in the NFL rushing defense (147.8). The Eagles will be happy to chew clock as the Cowboys further implode.

Best Bet: Eagles -2.5 (-110) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
New York Jets at Arizona Cardinals, 4:25 p.m. (CBS)

Buzz: Gang Green (3-6) enjoyed a mini-bye after a Thursday win over Houston on Halloween. Aaron Rodgers and the Jets' offense remains stuck in a holding pattern. They’ll be on the road in a dome here and won’t be able to keep up with the track-meet Cardinals offense. The 5-4 Cardinals are in a logjam atop the NFC West and come home after back-to-back wins at Miami and Chicago. Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr. have their groove on. James Conner continues to pound away on the ground. And the Cardinals have covered 5 straight times against the AFC.

Best Bet: Cardinals -1 (-108) DraftKings

Sunday, November 10
Detroit Lions at Houston Texans, 8:20 p.m. (NBC)

Buzz: Here’s a possible Super Bowl 60 preview – yep, you read that one correctly. The Texans are a year away from a deep playoff run (i.e. getting past Kansas City). The 7-1 Lions lead the race for home field in the NFC and should reach the Super Bowl this season, in addition to next. Detroit is 44-18 ATS in its 62 games under Dan Campbell (including the postseason) and has covered in 9 of its past 10 games, and in 7 straight games on the road. The 6-3 Texans were depleted without Nico Collins and Stefon Diggs - and played like it - in their 21-13 loss to the Jets at MetLife on Halloween. Joe Mixon will carry much of the load for Houston here. It won't be enough. Lay the points on Detroit until further notice. We locked in Detroit -2.5 on the early line.

Best Bet: Lions -3.5 (-110) DraftKings

Monday, November 11
Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams, 8:15 p.m. (ESPN)

Buzz: Happy Veterans Day. Thanks to all who have served and continue to serve. (Especially to my late father.) A rare home game for the Rams in which the crowd will be primarily Rams fans. The 4-4 Rams have the gang back together – meaning Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, and running back Kyren Williams. Matt Stafford should be able to avoid too many mistakes here in piling up points. The Dolphins' defense can't stop a nosebleed. Never mind 2 of the most dynamic receivers in the NFL Tua Tagovailoa continues to improve. The 2-6 Dolphins scored 27 points in back-to-back crushing losses to Arizona (28-27) at the gun in Week 8 and at Buffalo (30-27) in OT Sunday. Hang on for a wild Sunday night ride.

Best Bet: Over 50 Points. (-112) DraftKings
