Texas Motor Speedway means pyrotechnics and six-shooters in Victory Lane, and thousands of fans in the grandstands (even this weekend, thanks to an OK from the governor).

And when it comes to NASCAR betting, it means that Kevin Harvick is once again the driver to watch, with good reason: Harvick has won three of the last five races on the fast, high-banked track, where he hasn’t finished outside the top 10 since 2014.

Given that he’s also the best driver on the circuit this season, there’s no wonder he’s the overwhelming odds favorite at +300, far outdistancing No. 2 odds choices Kyle Busch and Denny Hamlin, both at +600. Grab some beef ribs and a Stetson, and peruse these seven bets to make on the 1.5-mile track in Fort Worth.

Kevin Harvick to Win

Chalky as hell, we know. But Harvick owns Texas right now, with three wins and a runner-up in his last five starts. He also enters on a roll, having won two of the last four Cup Series events. We’ve said it over and over: Nobody shows more speed off the truck than Harvick. Combine that with proven information gathered over his last four runs at Texas, and the No. 4 team shows up with an advantage that will be difficult to match. Make the bet at DraftKings:

Kevin Harvick Top Ford

An easy place on which to double up on the favorite. In addition to his sterling track record at Texas and his outstanding performances this season, Harvick has been the top-performing Ford driver in six of the 13 races since NASCAR returned from hiatus. While Logano and Ryan Blaney (both +550) present better value, and anything can happen on a fast layout, Harvick remains the clear choice this weekend. Bet on it with DraftKings .

Ford Winning Manufacturer

Cole Custer may have been a surprise winner at Kentucky, but the car he drove wasn’t. The victory was the fourth in five weeks for Ford, which earned its 10th Cup Series triumph on the season overall. For a 1.5-mile tri-oval, Texas is as fast as it gets, so Sunday will be a test of horsepower. Given that Harvick has also won three of the last five Texas races in a Ford, there’s no reason to look anywhere else. Bet on Ford with FOXBet.

Stewart-Haas Racing to Win

Fairly good value for the team with the best driver in the sport. Joe Gibbs Racing is the odds favorite here at +180, thanks to its deep roster of Hamlin, Busch, Truex and the sneaky-good Erik Jones. Stewart-Haas is more of a one-man play, but that one guy is Harvick, the best driver on the circuit, powered by the best manufacturer this season, on one of his best tracks. Add in the extra value, and that’s good enough. Bet on it with PointsBet.

Joey Logano Top 3

Logano’s results since NASCAR returned have made it clear that he’s missing practice time more than any other top driver. The guy who won twice before the break has struggled to find speed since he’s been back on the track. But his recent results have been more competitive, and he’s historically been very good at Texas, with just one finish worse than seventh in his last eight starts. Add that Ford power, and he’s worth considering. Bet on him with 888sport.

Martin Truex Jr. Top Toyota

Although he’s never won at Texas (unlike his Gibbs teammates Denny Hamlin and Kyle Busch), he’s been more consistent there recently, finishing ninth or better in eight of his last 10 starts. He’s also been good overall as of late, with top-10s in three of four, including a runner-up finish on another fast tri-oval last weekend in Kentucky. Busch has been all over the place this season, while Hamlin’s recent Texas finishes have been inconsistent. Bet on him with Unibet.

Tyler Reddick Top Chevrolet

This isn’t as much of a flyer as it might seem, given that Reddick has finished eighth and 10th in his past two Cup Series starts and has beaten Chevy standard-bearer Chase Elliott in three of his last five outings. Chevrolet has a thin stable, even thinner now with seven-time Texas winner Jimmie Johnson on the rebound after missing time with coronavirus. That certainly leaves room for a driver such as Reddick, whose value is tough to turn down. Bet on him with Unibet.
