Pep Guardiola's odds on becoming the next Juventus boss have been slashed amid a flurry of bets on the Manchester City manager to leave the Premier League for Serie A.

Reports emanating from Italy in the last 24 hours have claimed Guardiola has agreed a four-year deal to succeed Max Allegri in Turin and punters have steamed into betting markets with the Spaniard now 2/1 (+200) favourite with Paddy Power for the role with Juventus.

Guardiola, who has managed in Spain, Germany and England, was a 7/1 (+700) shot for the job earlier this week, but now Betway and 888Sport make Guardiola second favourite for the post at 100/30 (+333) and 3/1 (+300) respectively.

Former Barcelona and Bayern Munich coach Guardiola denied before last week's FA Cup final win that he was going to Juventus, but the latest rumours have seen much of the betting activity on the market focused on Guardiola and that has resulted in the big price changes.

Betway have current Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri as 2/1 (+200) favourite to take over at Juventus, while Paddy Power and 888Sport have the former Napoli chief at 4/1 (+400) to return to Italy with Juventus this summer.

Mourinho In The Frame Too

888Sport have former Manchester United and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as their 2/1 (+200) favourite to take the helms in Turin with the Portuguese looking for a return to management after leaving Old Trafford last December.

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has been mentioned as a strong contender for the Juventus job and he is available at best price 9/1 (+900) with 888Sport.

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is understood to have admirers within the corridors of power at Juventus, but his price has now drifted to 12/1 with Paddy Power having been a favourite at the beginning of the week.

Guardiola has only ever spent longer than three years at one club - Barcelona - but leaving City for Juventus after just completing the domestic treble would come as one of the biggest shocks in recent years.

Despite domestic dominance, the 48-year-old has so far failed to guide City beyond the quarter-final stage of the Champions League, a competition Juventus are desperate to win for the first time since 1996.
