The NBA is fueled by star power. As the WNBA completes its 29th regular season as the top women’s basketball league in the nation, it’s in the stages of joining that trend. The star power has also affected sports betting and the top sports betting apps are noticing.
Now, the league is hoping to take advantage from a financial standpoint.
Bookies.com ahead of the 2025 regular season calculated the cost of attending WNBA games at each arena for the 2025 season - data you can still find below. But first, as the playoffs tip on Sunday with the 8-team field set, we've crunched the numbers for the cost of WNBA playoff tickets ahead of the weekend.
Cheapest WNBA Playoffs Ticket
The average cost for four of the cheapest available tickets for the eight WNBA team comes to $410.93, a dramatic increase from the $248.40 it cost to see a regular-season game.
That said, the massive increase is in large part due to the Golden State Valkyries. Four Valkyries tickets in the playoffs will run a family a massive $888 – that’s double the price of five of the other eight WNBA playoff teams.
Four tickets to see the Phoenix Mercury, Minnesota Lynx or Las Vegas Aces cost $160 or less.
The Valkyries had the third-cheapest WNBA regular-season tickets, at $142.67, and the second-cheapest overall price for four.
Taking into account parking, beverages and hot dogs, a Golden State game for four runs at $968.50, $240 more than the Indiana Fever, the second priciest team, and $700 more than the three aforementioned teams in Phoenix, Minnesota and Vegas.
Regular Season Breakdown
On average, families will spend $337.15 on four of the cheapest available tickets, a parking spot, two beers, two sodas, and four hot dogs at a WNBA arena this season.
That’s up $63.11, or 18.7%, from just one year ago. That also doesn’t include games in which the marquee names come to town.
Perhaps more shocking, it’s now more expensive to attend an average WNBA game than an NBA game. A family of four averaged out to $320.31.
Cheapest Available WNBA Regular Season Ticket
Like any sporting event these days, tickets make up the vast majority of the cost of attending a WNBA game. Getting tickets to some games is very easy, for others it’s far more difficult.
We took the cheapest available tickets (4) for home games, only going through official sources and avoiding the secondary market (Ticketmaster standard tickets were the most common team partner). Those tickets were then averaged out for one cost.
The tickets used for the formula were for those available as of May 10, 2025.
We also avoided games involving Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, or Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings. Ticket prices spike when those stars come to town, sometimes by 500% or more.
(Connecticut Sun tickets cost a league-low $107 for four seats, except when former UConn star Bueckers comes to town with Dallas. Then it’s over $700.)
Of the 13 WNBA teams, eight charge under $50 per ticket, including fees. But the average for four seats comes to $248.40 thanks to a few massive outliers.
The Minnesota Lynx have won four WNBA championships since 2010 and lost in the Finals last year. Sometimes you get what you pay for, and Lynx fans pay. Four of the cheapest tickets average out to $533.33, easily the priciest in the league.
On the flip side, the addition of No. 1 overall pick Bueckers has propelled the Dallas Wings into relevance. Last year, four Wings tickets could be had for $139.40. This year, it’s $497.47, an increase of more than 300%.
The Atlanta Dream ranked third in pricing at $351 for four tickets, but they play in an arena of just 3,500. Seven teams play in arenas built for 17,000 or more.
Phoenix Mercury prices have doubled, from $91.40 last year to $182.60 this summer.

WNBA Lot Parking
Many WNBA arenas don’t have official parking lots or ramps. Most are located in the downtown of a major city, offering several available parking locations.
It’s no shock that New York Liberty games, played at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, are expensive. But to some surprise, Liberty games dropped from the most-expensive to the second-most-expensive.
The Seattle Storm took over the top spot, averaging out to $38 per spot for a walkable distance (roughly 7 minutes) to the arena.
The cheapest, once again: $0. The Connecticut Sun played at Mohegan Sun Arena, connected to the Mohegan Sun casino, the second-largest casino in the nation. Parking is free.

Beer & Soda
We took beer prices and converted them all to 16-ounce sizes. The scale really highlights the disparity in price between the cities.
A beer at Barclay Center for New York Liberty games will run you a massive $17 apiece. You can get two beers for under that price at Atlanta Dream games.
The Washington Mystics, Phoenix Mercury, and Chicago Sky are each at $10 each, or just under.
The Dallas Wings are promoting the family-first strategy based on their concessions. They have by far the cheapest soda, and the second-priciest beer. Once again, the New York Liberty charges more than any other team.

Hot Dogs
The city known for $2 footlongs is the priciest place for a regular dog at a WNBA game. The Las Vegas Aces charge nearly $12 for a hot dog. Meanwhile, fans can get four dogs for $12 at Golden State Valkyries games. The Dallas Wings and Phoenix Mercury also charge less than half what Vegas does.

Methodology
Bookies.com collected pricing data for all 13 WNBA teams using publicly available sources, including team websites, stadium vendor listings, SpotHero.com, and Ticketmaster. To estimate the cost of attending a game for a group of four, we calculated the combined price of the four cheapest available tickets, a parking spot, two 16-oz domestic beers, two 20-oz sodas, and four regular hot dogs.
Ticket prices were sourced from Ticketmaster, the WNBA’s official ticketing partner. For each team, we averaged the lowest-priced four-ticket totals from three home games—one each in mid-May, mid-June, and mid-July—excluding games against Indiana and Dallas, where demand is typically inflated due to star player appearances.
Parking costs were pulled from team websites or SpotHero.com, using the lowest available game-day rate near each arena.
Concession prices are based on recent vendor data, fan experience reports, and arena pricing guides, offering a consistent snapshot of the typical food and beverage costs fans can expect at WNBA games in 2025.
