The Top 25 Most & Least Watchable NFL Games In 2025

What are the most – and least–watchable games on the 2025 NFL schedule this season?
We ran the numbers and created the Bookies.com Watchability Index (BWI).
Bookies.com analyzed each contest on the 272-game regular season schedule and ranked every NFL game based on its watchability, using an algorithm that factors in NFL betting lines, projected wins, and Super Bowl odds, plus the game day atmosphere/weather, major off-field storylines, and the game’s availability on national TV or streaming service.
This year’s schedule includes a rematch of Super Bowl 59 and of both the AFC and NFC Championship Games. The Super Bowl rematch between the Eagles and Chiefs in Week 2 tops our list.
The NFL schedule includes tripleheaders on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, another Black Friday matchup, and the Chiefs-Chargers Friday night game in Week 1.
Will we get a Super Bowl 60 preview in the mix?
Let's take a look.

Giants, Browns, Titans Top 'Bottom' List
The New York Giants, Cleveland Browns and Tennessee Titans each appear 5 times on our Top 25 Least Watchable Games list this season.
Three Week 18 games fill out the bottom of the list. The Tennessee Titans game at Jacksonville in Week 18 rates as the least watchable of all the 272 NFL games this season. The Carolina Panthers game across the state of Florida during Week 18 and the in-state rivalry between the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns are close behind.
The largest preseason line is has the Bills as 12.5-point favorites at New Orleans in Week 4. That game is the 5th least watchable game this season.
How We Did It
Multiple factors were used in creating an algorithm for the Bookies.com Watchability Index. Each of the 272 games on the NFL schedule were scored for the following:
- WIN DISPARITY: Projected Win Totals Combined; Minus Win Total Disparity
- ADJUSTED SB ODDS: Weighted Average of Each Team’s Odds To Win The Super Bowl at BetMGM, with the most points going to the team (Kansas City) favored to win the Super Bowl. And the least points given the longest shot on the board (Carolina).
- POINT SPREAD: Weighted point spread for each game. A pick’em gets 20 points, a 1-point spread 19 points, a 2-point spread 18 points, and so on.
Individual matchups were also awarded 3 points each if they included:
- Are scheduled in prime time or in a national network slot; or are available on Amazon Prime or Netflix
- Include a major secondary storyline in addition to the game itself (i.e. Aaron Rodgers’ return to the NFL; a playoff rematch; a traditional rivalry; or offer a potential playoff preview, etc.)
- Have potential for extreme weather, or an impactful crowd
Ties are broken by point spread, with the lower point spread being deemed more watchable.
