Braves Moneyline Over Dodgers
Can the Braves get over the hump tonight and clinch their first NL pennant since 1999? We think it’s finally Atlanta’s time.
Braves righty Ian Anderson was dialed in at the end of the regular season and tossed five scoreless innings in his first postseason start. He got chased out after just three innings in the Braves’ Game 2 win over the Dodgers, but he only allowed two earned runs on three hits.
Dodgers righty Walker Buehler has had some short outings this postseason as well, and he hasn’t won a game yet at 0-1 in three starts.
Anderson’s 1.13 postseason WHIP is the lowest of any starter from the three remaining playoff teams, and he’ll have an insanely good crowd behind him – the Braves have won six straight home games, including all four home playoff games. A pennant-clinching night game at 8 p.m. on a Saturday should lead to the most electric atmosphere we’ve seen all October. And the Braves lineup is poised to take advantage. We’re on Braves moneyline.

Ian Anderson, Over 3.5 Strikeouts
Odds: -145 at DraftKings
Anderson averages almost exactly one strikeout per inning, and the Dodgers strike out at a slightly above-average rate. There’s no reason to hold Anderson back here – Atlanta does not want to see a Game 7 and we expect him to go as long as it takes. We surely think he’ll give at least four strong backed by the Braves faithful.
The 23-year-old has already proven himself as a great October option, with a 3-0 record and 1.35 ERA in six career playoff starts. He should have another good one tonight, going over 3.5 strikeouts in the process.
