Wyndham Championship Odds, Picks & Top Prop Bets to Back

It’s last call for the PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup Playoffs at this week’s Wyndham Championship. Golf betting heavy hitters like Brooks Koepka, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood and Jordan Spieth are still way outside the top-30 mark required to advance to the Tour Championship and looking to improve their standing in the final regular Tour event of the season.

Webb Simpson tops the latest Wyndham Championship odds at +1100. Koepka is next at +1200 after a brutal finish to last week’s PGA Championship. Paul Casey and Patrick Reed follow at +1700 for the regular-season finale at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Chez Reavie to Win (+6000)

You don’t need to pipe it off the tee to win at Sedgefield. Accuracy and ballstriking is the name of the game. Reavie checks those boxes and is just two weeks removed from a T-6 in Memphis. He made the cut last week at a course that was all about the bombers. Now he’s at a track that gives the Reavie-type players on Tour a fair shake. We think Reavie is worth a touch to get it done at +6000. Take a flyer on Reavie at DraftKings.

Jim Furyk to Make the Cut (-167)

We like this bet so much it’s almost concerning. Furyk has gone T-4, T-10 and T-9 in three career starts at Sedgefield. It’s a great course as Furyk continues to show off the strong old-man game at age 50. He’s first on Tour in driving accuracy and first on Tour in greens in regulation. And he only missed the cut by one stroke last week at a lengthy, young man’s track. We would be shocked to see him trunk slamming Friday in Greensboro. Put a wager on Furyk to play on the weekend at Unibet.

Harold Varner to Finish Top-10 (+625)

Varner had a top-10 here in 2017 and has made three consecutive Wyndham cuts. His irons have been really good this season and a 70.45 scoring average is the lowest of his career. He hasn’t been able to put it all together for a really big week since the restart, but we like Varner to make a push up the leaderboard in the state where he grew up and played college golf at East Carolina. Ride Varner for a top-10 at PointsBet.

Harris English (-122) over Billy Horschel

Horschel is playing well and has a proven track record here. But Harris has a strong Sedgefield record as well, making the cut in all six appearances. He’s also tearing it up over the past month with four consecutive top-20 finishes, including a T-19 at last week’s PGA Championship. The irons and putting have been on point and we think Harris can handle things in this matchup. If you agree, bet on English at FanDuel.

Ryan Moore (-110) over Sungjae Im

Im just doesn’t quite have it lately. Whether it’s burnout from playing so much the past two years or something else, he isn’t an automatic DFS or matchup betting lock like the good old days. We should note that he’s 22 and any skepticism does not extend beyond this week. Moore finished T-6 in his last Wyndham appearance and won in 2009. He has finished in the top 25 in four of eight starts at Sedgefield and is ninth in driving accuracy this season. We’ll go with Moore in this one and you can too at DraftKings.
