Sky Sports’ 10 in 10 effort continues on Saturday lunchtime when Ipswich travel to Stadium MK hoping to land their third consecutive away win in the Championship.

Mick McCarthy’s team have been largely hit and miss this season although you can level the same accusation at most sides in this division where you should expect the unexpected on a frequent basis.

The wins are starting to come for Ipswich at long last, even if they were turned over at home to Middlesbrough last weekend, with Town having previously won three and draw one of their four matches.

Away from home, they have had a couple of eye-catching performances. There was a 5-2 triumph at Rotherham and, to prove a three-goal winning margin wasn’t freakish, they then walked away with a 3-0 win at Charlton. Wow.

MK Dons are one of three promoted teams working out how to stay up this season. They sit twentieth in the table and only out of the relegation zone on goal difference, although the margins are tight and Karl Robinson’s side have just one win from their previous eight matches.

Scoring goals has been a problem all term and fifteen simply isn’t enough from nineteen games, illustrating that there’s a big old gulf between Championship and League One these days.

It’s set to be another tricky match for a side who have lost five of their nine home matches this season and will hope simply to finish above three other teams in the division when the cows come home. Which may or may not happen.
