The UFC returns to the Las Vegas Apex this weekend in a card headlined by a featherweight bout between a pair of top-10 contenders. “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung and Dan Ige face off in the featured main event.

This Fight Night card takes place on Saturday and includes a co-main event featuring a pair of Ukrainian heavyweights in 43-year-old Aleksei Oleinik and Sergey Spivak, who is 17 years Oleinik’s junior. This card offers some great UFC betting opportunities.

“Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung vs. Dan Ige Betting Analysis & Odds

This fight is seen as a tossup by the top sportsbooks with both fighters sitting at -110 on the moneyline at DraftKings . (Check out our DraftKings sportsbook review).

Jung enters the octagon with the best moniker in all of UFC. But he failed to live up to his name the last time he fought and was sent to the land of the living dead by Brian Ortega in October 2020. That means the No. 4-ranked Jung (16-6) now needs to fight the No. 8-ranked Ige just to move into a possible title shot.

At 34, Jung knows this fight is vital for him to progress towards a championship. He will be looking to score a decisive blow early to submit or knock out Ige, and make a statement to Dana White. Five of Jung's last six UFC fights have ended by KO/TKO.

But Ige, 29, is no pushover. He decisively smote Gavin Tucker in March after just 22 seconds of the first round. Ige lost his previous bout but has won seven of eight. Ige (15-3) should be in line for a title shot if he beats the higher-ranked Jung.

Ige is a grinder and will be better positioned to win as the scheduled five-round fight progresses. He plans to deliver plenty of damage along the way – “50K” has the ability to score a knockout just as much as his self-proclaimed “Zombie” counterpart.

Both fighters are prone to bringing the fight to their opponent, so expect plenty of physical fireworks in what should be an entertaining clash. The “Zombie” earned his reputation by never letting up on attacking his opponents regardless of circumstance.

“Korean Zombie” vs. Ige Best Bet

Ige likes to hit and can absorb whatever blows the “Zombie” will offer. He carries a striking advantage. In a loss to Calvin Kattar, he demonstrated that he can go head-to-head with the best of strikers.

Jung, meanwhile, was flattened in his most recent defeat. Ige needs to stay away from Jung inside, avoid his uppercuts and counter strikes, and push the bout into the fourth or fifth round. It’s hard to imagine either one of these fighters actually being knocked out or submitting – “Zombies” don’t submit.

Take Ige by points at +230 at FanDuel sportsbook . (Check out our FanDuel sportsbook review)

Other Bets We’re Making

Aleksei Oleinik vs. Sergey Spivak

These two heavyweights offer an Old Testament showdown of Young vs. Old. Neither fighter is close to a title shot. But the heavyweight division has new vitality and buzz.

This bout will pack plenty of back-and-forth hitting for however long, or short, it lasts. Oleinik was badly beaten in his two most recent fights. His former strengths, grappling and choking out his opponents, have been erased by time.

UFC Fight Night Odds: Korean Zombie vs Dan Ige Tips & Picks 2

Oleinik has won 48 fights via submission but might not have a chance to get close to Spivak. Superior upper body strength will allow Spivak to avoid being choked out or forced to submit. He will be trying to hit hard and fast.

We like Spivak to win in Rounds 1-3, which is -133 at FOX Bet. (Check out our FOX Bet sportsbook review).
