UFC Vegas 112 Main Event Best Bet
Merab Dvalishvili (-425) vs. Petr Yan (+330)
Manel Kape (-305) vs. Brandon Royval (+245)
The main event of UFC Vegas 112 is a five-round flyweight fight between Manel Kape and Brandon Royval. Kape is a -305, and I am taking him to win the biggest fight of his career.
Kape is 32, and he is 6-3 in the UFC. The Angola native has been in the UFC since 2021, and he has always had the potential to be a top flyweight. While he has had some key losses that have held him back, in recent years, he has really turned things around, and he has won six of his last seven fights entering this bout. He has won his last two fights by brutal knockout, and if he can get past Royval in this fight, there is a good chance he will fight for the 125 lbs title next.
Royval is 33, and he is 7-4 in the UFC. The American has been a top flyweight ever since entering the UFC in 2020, routinely putting on exciting fights for the fans and beating several of the division’s top fighters. Royval is a very well-rounded fighter who has great striking skills and slick submissions. He also has the cardio to fight five rounds. That being said, he has been hurt badly in several of his fights, and that could be a problem here, taking on a big hitter like Kape.
Royval is an excellent fighter, but I believe Kape has more momentum heading into this fight and will win it. Look for Kape to land the harder blows throughout the contest and take this fight on the judges’ scorecards to earn a flyweight title shot. Take Kape to win as a -305 favorite.

Other UFC Vegas 112 Best Bets
Kevin Vallejos (-210) vs. Giga Chikadze (+180)
The co-main event of UFC Vegas 112 is a featherweight bout between Kevin Vallejos and Giga Chikadze. Vallejos is a -298 favorite, and I expect him to win this fight.
Vallejos is 24, and he is 2-0 in the UFC. The Argentinian fighter went 1-1 on Dana White’s Contender Series before getting a UFC contract. He made his debut this year, and so far, he has won both of his fights inside the Octagon, and both of the fights have been very exciting to watch. He has great striking skills with plenty of output, and he has knockout power in his limbs. There is a lot to like about Vallejos, and he is one of the best prospects right now at 145 lbs.
Chikadze is 37, and he is 8-3 in the UFC. The Georgian has been in the UFC since 2019, and he has had a nice run in the featherweight division since then, being a ranked fighter for the past several years. He is one of the best strikers in the weight class, and he always has a chance to knock his opponents out. That being said, he is getting up there in age, and he doesn’t fight very often anymore, two things that could come back to burn him in this fight.
Although Chikadze is the more accomplished striker on paper, he is also 13 years younger, barely fights anymore, and is 1-3 overall in his last four fights. Vallejos is younger, faster, and throws far more volume. I like Vallejos in this fight as I see him outstriking Chikadze and potentially mixing in a few takedowns to win as a -298 favorite on the judges’ scorecards.
UFC Vegas 112 Best Bet: Kevin Vallejos wins at -298 with DraftKings Sportsbook
Melquizael Costa (-112) vs. Morgan Charriere (-108)
Also on the main card is a featherweight bout between Melquizael Costa and Morgan Charriere. Costa is a -112 favorite, and I believe he will win this fight.
Costa is 29, and he is 5-2 in the UFC. The Brazilian lost two of his first three UFC bouts, but he has bounced back since then with four wins in a row. He has proven himself to be a well-rounded MMA fighter who has solid striking and grappling skills as he looks to break through and make a run into the top 15 at featherweight. If he gets past Charriere in this fight, there is a good chance the UFC matchmakers will give him a ranked opponent next time.
Charriere is 30, and he is 3-2 in the UFC. The Frenchman has been inconsistent in the UFC as he hasn’t been able to string together two wins in a row, but he has won four bonuses and has proven to be a very exciting fighter. He has plenty of knockout power, though he tends to fade as the fight goes longer. If the fight ends early, Charriere is the likely winner, but as the fights go longer and hit the scorecards, Charriere is at risk of losing a decision due to waning output.
Costa has been on a roll as of late with four straight wins, while Charriere has been very inconsistent so far inside the Octagon. Moreover, Costa has a 9-3 record in fights that go the distance in his career, while Charriere is 5-10 in fights that go to decision. In this fight, I believe Costa will be able to outwork Charriere and win the fight on the judges’ scorecards. Go with Costa to win this fight as a -112 favorite, and consider taking him by decision for a prop bet.
