This was always expected to be one of the more open World Cup groups, at least based on the odds at World Cup betting sites, and it could still be that way if Bosnia and Herzegovina win their final group game and one of Canada or Switzerland win theirs.

Qatar got their first-ever World Cup point against Switzerland, but they will need a big win against Bosnia and Herzegovina to hope to make it into the knockouts.
