The seven-year-old's owners, the Supreme Horse Racing Club, were banned by Ireland's governing body Horse Racing Ireland on November 14 over allegations of fradulent activity, that the club's managers failed to answer to.

HRI first met with trustee Steve Massey about complaints it had received in July, many of the estimated 500 members claiming that shares had been over-sold in several horses, including Kemboy, winner of last season's Punchestown Gold Cup.

Having given the Supreme Horse Racing Club's trustees every opportunity to provide full details of their members and respective shares, HRI received little to no communication from them, and was forced to void registrations of all 29 horses that run under their banner.

Aramon, Cadmium Also Free To Run Again

The move came at a crucial time, the beginning of the new jumps season when the club's trainer Willie Mullins was readying their two stable stars, Kemboy and Aramon, for a return to action.

Conscious of this, HRI has moved swiftly to help form a new ownership body for Supreme Horse Racing Club's horses, and today announced that seven horses have now been re-registered, including Kemboy and Aramon.

In a statement, HRI said: "Race entries for Aramon, Cadmium, Defy De Mee, Harrie, Hybery, Kemboy and Robin De Carlow can now be made.

"The new registrations have been formed under new syndicates comprising members who have come forward as shareholders in those horses.

"The new syndicates have agreed that any prize money won will be held within their Horse Racing Ireland syndicate account and no withdrawals will be permitted until at least the end of the 2019/2020 National Hunt season. This will allow members time to take further steps, including finalising the shareholding in each horse."

It added: "Horse Racing Ireland expect additional horses, formerly registered under Supreme Horse Racing Club, to be registered through a similar process in the coming days."

All Systems Go For Kemboy Christmas Comeback

Kemboy, as short as 5/1 second favourite in the Cheltenham Gold Cup betting, had until today to be re-registered if he was to make the cut-off for entry into his first target, the Grade 1 Savill's Chase at Leopardstown's Christmas Festival on December 28.

Luckily, he made it.

This was thanks in no small part to significant share-holder Brett Graham rallying his fellow members, and also to solicitor Patrick Kennedy, who acted to put together the new ownership structures.

Entries also close today at 12noon for the Grade 1 December Hurdle at Leopardstown on December 29, which could be Aramon's first step on the road to the Champion Hurdle at Cheltenham. Having not yet run this season though, Mullins is more likely to opt for a more low-key start to his campaign.

Entries for the December Hurdle and Savill's Chase will be released later this week and we will update this page with those details, so stick a pin in it and stay tuned for the latest odds on Leopardstown's big races too.
