Aberdeen have relieved manager Barry Robson of his duties after seeing a lack of progress during his eight-month spell in charge of the Scottish club. They currently sit in eighth place in the Scottish Premiership, having collected just 24 points from 21 games this season, following a dismal run of three wins from 11 games. Aberdeen currently find themselves sitting in the relegation group, and could be playing in the Scottish Championship next season should fortunes not improve. Neil Warnock The Early Favourite

Neil Warnock is becoming a familiar face on Sky Sports' Championship coverage, and the exposure looks to have been worth the effort. Alex Neil Second Favourite

Although he is second favourite at the moment, Alex Neil would seem to be a better fit as the next Aberdeen manager. He is without a club after leaving Stoke City and has a great reputation north of the border after guiding Hamilton Academical to the Scottish Premiership. During which time he led the team to their first win away at Celtic for 76 years.
