Betting sites have set their odds for Game Week 4 in the Premier League and much of the focus this weekend is on the battle to avoid the drop. Arsenal and Manchester United may be battling it out on Sunday but before then, the best odds on betting apps to look at concern those at the bottom.

Burnley and Luton are yet to claim a point so far this season and appear unlikely to get off the ground in Game Week 4, while Everton will hope to finally earn a reprieve when they take on fellow strugglers Sheffield United. A pool is already forming at the foot of the table and this weekend could prove pivotal in shaping the season.

Top Premier League Bets To Back

Sean Dyche has become the favourite in the next manager to be sacked market in the latest football odds, with Paul Heckingbottom closely behind. The pair meet on the touchline this Saturday with Everton and Sheffield United having scored just two goals between them all campaign. Could one of them be axed before the first international break? Perhaps both will walk. They are both among the favourites on many football betting sites.

This is a week to focus on those teams scrapping at the bottom, as this is where dead-cert profit on UK betting sites appears to sit. Saying that, there are still some good bets elsewhere in the league to take advantage of, meaning there’s plenty of scope for bettors keeping an eye on the title race too. Here are three football betting picks for the weekend ahead.

Premier League Tips This Weekend

West Ham to beat Luton

Friday night sees high-flying West Ham arrive at Kenilworth Road to face Luton Town seeking to stretch their unbeaten start to the season to four games and stay within touching distance of Manchester City at the top of the table.

Europa Conference League winners West Ham have rebuilt their midfield with the cash earned from Declan Rice’s summer sale to bring in the influential James Ward-Prowse, and the Hammers look well balanced.

They should have no problem dismantling a Luton side that was always going to struggle in the big time. Luton will have their chances to shock big favourites later in the season but not here. The Hammers are good for a comfortable win that should form the anchor of any football acca.

Premier League Prediction: West Ham to win odds: 1.80 @ Betfred.

Sheffield United vs Everton - Under 2.5 goals

If there’s one thing for certain on Saturday it’s that both Sheffield United and Everton need three points from their clash in South Yorkshire. Just two goals between the teams all season is awful form, and defensively they’re struggling too.

Thankfully respective goalkeepers Wes Foderingham and Jordan Pickford should have a brighter day on Saturday, considering the offensive paucity of both teams. This is likely to be a feisty contest but don’t bank on goals.

Both Heckingbottom and Dyche would take a scrappy 1-0 win and there will be a ‘safety first’ approach to his clash. A game that could feature more red cards than goals cannot be ruled out when compiling an accumulator.

Premier League Prediction:  Under 2.5 total goals odds: 1.70 @ BetUK

Arsenal to beat Manchester United

Away from the drop zone, the big focus towards the top is in north London, where Arsenal host a Manchester United side that have got off to a rocky start this term. Erik ten Hag’s troops have two wins from three, but those victories have been narrow results against relegation-threatened Wolves and Nottingham Forest.

Manchester United were dismantled against Tottenham, and Arsenal could well do the same here. Arsenal do have a propensity to ruin all their good work – see the surprise 2-2 result with Fulham last weekend as a perfect example of ‘peak Arsenal’ since the Invincibles season of 2003/04.

However, Arsenal have the defensive solidity and the firepower to control Sunday’s clash and perhaps even beat United by two or more goals.

Premier League Prediction: Arsenal win odds: 1.80 @ Coral
