Shane Lowry will line up in the 2026 Masters at a big price. Many customers will include him in their each-way selections, as the Irishman knows what it takes to win a major tournament. However, the fact that some Masters betting sites are offering 50/1 indicates that 20 other players in the field are more fancied to adorn the Green Jacket come the evening of Sunday 12th April.
Should you want to swerve backing the 38-year-old to win at Augusta, there are lots of other betting markets that may be of interest. Shorter odds can be found on Lowry landing a top five or top-10 finish. As we get nearer to the start of the tournament, you may even find markets such as top 20 or to make the cut with some betting apps. Each-way options are also numerous, where you can choose your own place terms. Find the latest odds on Lowry’s chances at Augusta here:
Can Lowry Make Masters Cut for Seventh Year Running?
Lowry certainly knows his way around Augusta. The 2026 tournament will be his 11th Masters appearance, and his hotel will be booked until Monday morning. After all, he’s played all four rounds since tying 25th in the 2020 tournament. Since then, he has recorded T21, T3, T16, T43 and T42 finishes.
The early experiences were less kind. A Masters debut in 2015 saw a missed cut, and the same thing happened in 2017. However, the former Open champion has got to grips with Augusta since then. In 2022, he finished alongside Cameron Smith in a tie for third, which is his best finish at Augusta.

Is Lowry Ready To Win 2nd Major?
Lowry does have one major to his name in the form of the 2019 Open Championship. That Portrush success was achieved by an incredible six strokes ahead of Tommy Fleetwood, although the player has struggled to be in contention in many American major tournament renewals.
2025 was not a great year on that front. After that tied 42nd placing at Augusta, Lowry then failed to make the cut at the PGA Championship and US Open. He finished in a tie for 40th in the Open, but it’s been a fair while since this popular player last landed an individual tournament win.
That came in the 2022 BMW PGA Championship when the Irishman was able to fend off Rory McIlroy and Jon Rahm to land the big prize. Since then, his only win came in the 2024 Zurich Classic of New Orleans. This was a team event where he combined successfully with McIlroy to achieve a play-off victory.
The 2026 season started well for Lowry when he was tied eighth at Pebble Beach in February. He was super consistent when carding four sub-70 rounds in the Pro-Am and continued this form when tying 24th at The Genesis Invitational.
A week later, the Ryder Cup winner came desperately close to winning the Cognizant Classic only to wind up finishing second. Firing two balls into the water on successive holes ultimately cost him a victory as a three-shot lead was swallowed up on the final round.

Will Lowry Win The Masters?
His most recent efforts don’t inspire confidence that Lowry will be fitting for a Green Jacket in 2026. However, the sharper focus might be whether Shane can make another Augusta cut, something he was unable to do at the Arnold Palmer Invitational or The Players.
He has a great record of making the cut and could well be an each-way shout if your chosen golf betting site is paying out between 8-10 places.
