Tip 1 - 1:45 Aintree - Jazzy Matty
Jazzy Matty was desperately unlucky in the Grand annual at Cheltenham, losing out by a nose to Martator in a shock result. That was his first run since a wind op and he may well be able to get compensation today. Despite doing most of his racing over shorter, he has won at this sort of trip. Tip 4 - 4:05 Aintree - Hitman e/w
Madara made the field look very inferior when winning the Plate at Cheltenham last month, but a 10-pound rise and a short run in from that race make him easy enough to lay. With so many runners, it is a big-price horse who takes our fancy. Hitman hasn’t been in great form last couple of efforts but should be fresh having last raced in January. On the same mark as when winning a Grade 2 here in October last year. Has four further placed efforts here over these fences from six more attempts. Could outrun his odds.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
