Tip 4 - 4:00 Warwick - Crest Of Stars
Looks to be any amount of improvement still to come from Anthony Honeyball’s five-year-old, Crest Of Stars, who was a bumper winner over the now 146-rated Soldier Reeves last autumn. Won a novice quite handily last time out, and a four-pound rise to 116 shouldn’t stop him if he’s in the same form. Stepping up a couple of furlongs could bring out more improvement, while claimer Chad Bament takes off a useful five pounds and was on board last time out when winning too.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?
We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.
A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time.
For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
