There are some horses carrying some fair weight in this one, with the two principles carrying over 12 stone, which makes them harder to back. Betterforeveryone is carrying 12 stone but actually comes into this off the back of a win at Bangor carrying two pounds more on seasonal reappearance. Was a winner over four miles at Hexham on good to soft in March so should have plenty in the tank for 3m2f over soft ground here. This is a stamina test he should pass with flying colours.

What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
