In great form last summer racking up three victories, Sub Thirteen hasn’t been spotted on the track much this year. Tip 2 - 2:25 Yarmouth - Dark Side Thunder

Plenty with questions to answer in this on what is expected to be soft ground come the start of proceedings. Dark Side Thunder has a decent record here with five places and a win from seven starts, with that representing his sole turf win and all but two placed efforts on the ground. Tip 3 - 3:35 Sandown - Chantilly Lace

Chantilly Lace has been highly tried as a three-year-old, making her seasonal reappearance in the 1000 Guineas before a crack at another Group 1 at Royal Ascot. What is the Staking Plan and How Does a 1pt Win System Work?

We advise each bet as a win single or sometimes as an each way single. You can of course choose to combine the selections in a multiple bet, a Lucky 15 or a Yankee etc and that is a very popular way to follow the horses selected in this column daily.

A 1pt win per horse is advised in general and that means whatever your normal stake is for a bet is used as a point. For many this is £1 and for some this is £10 or more but it is totally relative to the individual and shouldn’t be more than you can afford to lose at any time. 

For each way selections we advise a 0.5pt each way stake. So as with the win selections this would be a £1 total bet (50 pence each way) or a £10 total bet (£5 each way).
